Thought this was quite interesting with our clearly defined structure and organisation compared to opposition, though it could also be cos we are a nightmare to play against we pull teams out of their shape

That was interesting, especially the stats analysis of our games. I think we will be up there as we are organised defensively and have a lot of pace and penetration and goals going forwards. Woots, Tanto, Barry, Fevs, Collar - all looking at double figure goal tallies this season and the strikers 20+ - there will be goals from elsewhere too. With Norwood, think we have added a dead ball demon also so more goals than before from set pieces and good to hear Chally’s at that we work hard on them. Saturday will be a good test. I think we will win 2 or 3 one.

Misses Accrington in the BSM Trophy but you'd imagine he'd have been rested anyway

Who had a shot against us from near the half way line? Was it some novelty free kick idiot or a hopeful boom towards goal?

I think we will win 2 or 3 one. Yeah it was good. Delve into the stats a bit more and a lot of those passes are in our own half, unsurprisingly with playing out, but we also lead the league for turnovers in the final third - admittedly after 3 games. I don't think we need a CB per se, Mingi and Onyango can play there, which he omits. However, Pye as a LCB is probably the one profile of player with Wootton that we don't have a like-for-like replacement. Makes sense as both are very difficult to recruit. The question is can we adapt our game without Pye like we've shown we can do with Wootton? I think having a right footer even in a 2 will have a bigger impact with our emphasis on build up.

Lovely stuff for a stats geek like me, especially the bit on Addai. Wish they've gone into a bit more depth about our injuries: 1. To analyse them against the rest of the EFL (I suspect that's tricky as the data is patchy though) and 2. Because they were a big part of last season and make it all the more impressive.

Any rumoured ins/outs before the deadline, ITK folks? Anything substantial to the mutterings around Powell leaving or is it all just idle gossip? Any sign of a right back?

Nothing ITK at all, I'd be surprised if we aren't trying to move Powell on but equally I'd be surprised if we can find a taker unless it be a part subsidised loan Could be a little bit of fine tuning but not sure there is many players you would earmark us to try move on within squad so I'd say mostly dependent on if Powell moves on as could give scope for a loan or two Think close of window comes too soon for a loan for likes of Stretton or Rydel to go get game time, though be better served keeping them registered and sending them NL side so we can then recall them for us if needed which we can do outside window anyway in that scenario, did hear a bit of talk may try use likes of Alty to get game time in that respect but more conjecture than anything Loan a Right back seems an obvious addition especially if prognosis on Mingi isn't too great

Get him back playing for a couple of months and keep him local. Hope he gets his chance after the 18 months he's had.
