Michael Smith at Rotherham is out of contract in June as well. Smith & Norwood are both being strongly linked with Championship sides

Is Carl Piergianni too old at 30? Always looked good when I've seen him and assume we can offer a better experience than Oldham. We'll be looking at CB's who have pace, can keep possession & are comfortable with the ball at their feet

Few of us know many players at L1/L2 level other than ex-players, so they always get mentioned, but I can almost guarantee we won’t be signing slow, 30 year old defenders from teams who just got relegated.

Rotherham's POTS so you'd think he'll be offered a new contract at a now Championship club or have similar aspirations elsewhere. From what I’ve seen of him I’m not sure he’s Championship quality. I’m sure Rotherham will want to keep him, but he’s 30 and out of contract. 💰💰💰💰

At his age he,ll be looking for as long a contract he can get. Could do a good job for us if we insist on playing with a big striker, but it worries me that we wasted money on bennett and now quigley with this insistance on a big lump upfront.

Let’s just do the inevitable and get Tshimanga and be right then won’t it.

If we somehow do it and they stay down, sign Mullin and any others that’ll improve us. We defo need to look at CBs regardless of where we are.

Topical... but lemonheigh evans is out of contract this summer He's one of the best players in the league and has always been linked with Wrexham, also a Welshmen, few reasons he could be itching to do them a favour tonight. Hope not.

Seemed to have had a quiet season though as i have not seen his name as much in the goalscorers.

They're a decent side Torquay, they're as good as anybody outside the play-offs for me.

CLH would be a decent signing for us, but he'd be competing with Sarcevic wouldn't he? Watched them against Chesterfield at the weekend. They're okay, nothing special. I still fancy us to beat them.

A lot will depend on which torquay will turn up tonight. A team that wants to prove a point, or one with players on the beach in a pointless game for them. Over the years we have seen more in the first catogary than the second at EP. OH for someone to do a scunny at bristol rovers for a change.
