Rob Apter beats Ethan Pye to League Two YPOTS; Jodi Jones wins POTS. Fraser Horsfall is the only County player to make the TOTS.

I’d die of embarrassment if Mark Stott did this… Lovely blue carpet. I would like that around the pitch at EP.. bit like Newport have an orange one.

Both fair points; I too don't care either way but it seemed worthy of note.

One county player in the TOTS? Who gives a shit. We know what we are.,. Champions Injuries won't have helped. Only 4 players in our squad with 30 starts, including Pye on 30. Ben and Horsfall were probably the only realistic shouts with the forward options stocked ahead of Tanto.

Rop Apter will end up at Tranmere for a midtable season or on Blackpools bench. Pye will be a regular starter for us next season or be going to a Championship club for 750k+ plus.
I know who I would rather be.

the Wrexham keeper will be changing his face mask at half-time after letting in howlers he should have saved whilst Ben is a three times champion.

My Facebook feed this morning is choked with Wrexham Wrexham Wrexham There’s coverage of us but the algorithms are hiding it I’ve got loads of County stuff all over my social media. Only time I can see Wrexham mentioned is alongside us, which is fair enough. The algorithms pick up what you tend to search for or read the most… sounds like a you problem 😉 A factor will be that there is a much higher number of outlets reporting Wrexham's promotion despite having no relationship to the story. KentOnline News has been roundly mocked for using a club 250 miles away across a border in their desperation for clicks. Their website has a further story that Rob McElhenney doesn't have any words about being promoted.

Ben and Horsfall were probably the only realistic shouts with the forward options stocked ahead of Tanto. it’s just been a really good season as a squad, rather than having a couple of stars and a bunch of makeweights. kind of shown by the PotS thread here, where there really wasn’t even any broad agreement on who had been our best player. Ben, Horsfall, Pye & Tanto have been consistently good all season, but not utterly dominant. Barry, MSH, Camps, Bailey & Sarce each had an outstanding 15 games or so each, but an equal period of injury / on the bench. Paddy has been somewhere between groups 1 & 2 Others like Croasdale, Knoyle, Wright & CLE have made big contributions here and there, with even maligned Touray & Powell having their moments. Hippo, Byrne and the loan lads have all played their parts too. Just a really good squad all over.
