Like the look of the railings and the idea of it myself even though i,d not be using the area. Know plenty who would and if grounds actually had that for home and away fans it would reduce the numbers who think its fine to stand in seated areas like they do now. That area is full of young lads who never sat down anyway, so very little is going to change there; I suppose it gives the stewards an easier afternoon than having to constantly ask them to sit down.

I,d start going to away games again if all that happened. Do not want to spoil the day for others and do not want them spoiling it for me and that situation should be able to keep all fans happy.

This standing is never going away we used to sit a the back of LT2 and it got steadily worse until we said enough is enough and managed to get a couple of seats in main stand with a great view and see every goal that we score now.

Looks completely different to any other safe standing I’ve seen. What they’ve done is put some railings up between the seats. Have a think about the path your head and upper body take getting out of a seat like that. Now think about where the bar in front of you is. They might think it’s safe standing, but it sure as sh*t ain’t safe sitting…

Rumours on RedPassion that Marriot may be out for a while after tripping on a sprinkler head. If so, it's not just us!

Sad news that Steve Bruce won’t be at Blackpools game tomorrow as his grandson has passed away at just 4 months old. Childs father is Matt Smith Bruces son in law. RIP Little fella.

Were we linked with him in the summer?
He seems like the type of rb/rwb we needed and at a age that suited our recruitment plan

I’ve seen rumours that it’s Rihanna who’ll be buying them Edit: I can’t read the article due to paywall so it might already cover the Rihanna connection
