Wouldn't be surprised if this was the start of them two cashing in and getting out. Get them to the champ, weigh in a profit, leave as heroes and let someone else get on with the pain in the back side bit of the proper infrastructure and prem push. From what I've read theyre nowhere near where we are with an academy yet, don't know how they're getting on with the stand building but they were baning heads at one point with that as well I can't see that. Any minority investor would want assurances about them saying as they are a huge part of the brand (and therefore value). I don't think they're in it to make a quick buck. They both have plenty. They genuinely enjoy it I think and it's a bonus that the documentary is making money on the side. They've just bought Wrexham Lager too. Even if they did want to take backseat, I'm sure they would just lower stake but keep an interest and ambassadorial roles. They'd keep a lot of the value and good feeling just having their name still involved (like Brady at Birmingham) and turning up every once in a while. In all fairness their hearts AND heads seem to be in it. Good for Wrexham. Whilst not to the same depths of us they've been through the ringer like us and deserve the success they're having.

Got to agree unfortunatly. Its hard to put a price on even extra fame they have achieved with wrexham. They are different characters from MS who with their day jobs they will love and crave the excitement and interest they have brought.

A truly glorious part of the world. Upstate New York, that is. Not Wrexham. Would happily live there. They do great steamed hams there. Well in Albany they do, IIRC.

Spent 2 weeks in Albany on a training course few years ago, great times. Was also provided with tickets for Broadway shows on the middle weekend.
