Yeah, I think if they bring in a system (and it needs doing asap) everyone starts with a clean slate and points start being accumulated from next season.

You say penalising, I say rewarding those who went everywhere. There’ll be some quirks in the short term while it settles down but in the medium-long term it’d sort itself out. It’s only a small number of fans (c100) who go everywhere to every game. They’d soon pull away and be out on their own in terms of points. There’d then be the next tranche who do 16-20 away games a season (which I’d probably fall in to), then then next tranche and so on. It’d sort itself out even sooner if our first five away games next season were Crawley, Gillingham, Colchester and someone like Ipswich in the Carabao. And if the first five were Salford, Vale, Bradford, Rochdale and Crewe then it’d sort itself out a little later. Someone convince me I’m wrong please. True it's semantics but it doesn't work initially to count points for away sellouts if you say that the ''old'' system wasn't fit for purpose. Why should a ST holder that tried their best to get a ticket for Wrexham but got shut out of the system have less points than one that got lucky and did get one? Similarly for games that never went on general sale you are penalising someone for not getting a ST and for a game that they could never have purchased a ticket for. So it becomes a bit of a closed shop until you have a good chunk of games everyone can go to. I agree it works in general though and will settle itself out longterm. I suspect the club wouldn't be keen though given that it's a handle of games it matters for where there's too much demand even amongst ST holders and another layer of admin. Unless they see the benefit of incentivising people to buy tickets for ''minor'' games so they can get the ''major'' ones. I’m not keen on the word penalised, but those who didn’t get a season ticket this year should be further down the list. What’s wrong with that? Buying one for the season we’ve just finished should see you higher up the list next year than those who didn’t. And you can’t just look at the Wrexham game in isolation. You’d be looking at someone’s purchase history for all away games we sold for, plus Trophy home games, the Vauxhall senior cup game. Add all those in and I think you’d have a pretty fair reflection of loyalty. Anyone who bought for all those deserves first shout on any ticket next season. It’s not just about Wrexham.

We get a lot of kids following us which is great but it also means that revenue is a little lower than it would be with a slightly older demographic. So getting the balance right is by no means easy.

I think you can only introduce something when everyone knows what rules we’re playing to. So it’s fair. Everyone knows how their loyalty will be rewarded and can make decisions based on that.

It's just the reverse of benefit! I agree with that but my point is you're pushing them down the list twice - ST holders get a bonus for having a ST and for attending games that never went on general sale, if they choose to, so it starts as a bit of a closed shop. I agree with your second para that I'm probably being pedantic. There's probably enough other data to balance it out from last season or it would happen fairly soon going to bigger grounds in L2.

It’s inevitable we’re going to need one sooner or later. Doing nothing about it now is just kicking the can down the road and causing a bigger problem when we do try and implement it. Plus we risk another season of complaining about allocations, loyal fans missing out etc

I’ve got a season ticket with my Dad and brother. Me and my brother will usually buy 2 away tickets using my Dads “lead” season ticket. How would this loyalty scheme recognise that? Because more often than not my Dad won’t usually bother with away games but he could be given all the loyalty points in that respect?

Winners and losers in any kind of loyalty scheme and we all have our own personal circumstances
I'm not the only own who lives down south and relies on the away games - with tickets bought via the away team
I'll be at Crawley, stevenage , Wimbledon etc next season.
I guess I'd never expect to go to the really popular away games like Bradford etc
Guess a lot depends on how well county do next season. If we are bobbing around mid table then there will be no need

If you’ve got three season tickets but are only buying away tickets against two of them then only those two will accrue points, the one that doesn’t buy won’t. When purchasing away tickets you’d have to assign it against a specific loyalty card number. Obviously this doesn’t exist atm but it’s standard practice elsewhere.

If we are bobbing around mid table then there will be no need I’d imagine for those games, unless they’re first or last, then there’ll be no problem getting tickets for them. But if Crawley was a title winning game, and we get an allocation of 600 then it should be those with the most points who get first dibs. I realise this sounds a bit harsh but if someone is only going to 2/3 away games a season because they live on the south coast, for example, then they’re going to more than likely miss the big games because the regulars will have more points. And that’s absolutely right to me. Someone who goes 40-50 games a season, or even 20-30, should get more of a priority than someone who goes 1-5 games. There’s no reason for us to sell away tickets via the opposition club now. We can do it ourselves and record who is buying them and award points accordingly.

Something deffo needs doing about away ticket allocations. Doubt there will be many places we,ll go next season where our allocation will cover all ST holders. As for the ST prices themselves i hope they do not go over the 350 mark even though the club will expect to sell more next season. Making em 400 plus would feel as if the club are taking advantage of the situation and would put many off because of this and the cost. Its not as if any of us have more money to throw around than 12 months back and something has to give.

Reduce the prices to, say £150-200 for our first season back in the FL. He can afford it. Reward the fans for their 11 years of loyalty, watch the sale of them fly through the roof, and begin/continue the process of making people 'County for life not just for the good times'. You lot deserve it. He deserves the adulation and heightened fan base. He'll not think twice about throwing similar levels of cash at one top quality player. Give it to the '12th man'
Naive, probably. If I was affluent and had a pile of football league money coming into the club...no brainer to me.

We're not, and physically can't, get double a 7k avg attendance even with that offer. I agree with the sentiment but we're now limited to wage bill of 55% our turnover in L2, I understand. I'm not sure of the ins and outs of it but halving our ST price would certainly impact our turnover.

Just been looking at Bradford City's website and they only charge £198 for a season ticket and looks like you can pay by direct debit over 12 months, their match tickets last season was £20 in advance going up to £25 on the day, so that is a huge saving for their season ticket holders. I think they have being doing cheap season tickets for quite a few seasons now.
