What a great thread! I only just noticed/started to catch up with it the other day, so apologies if this has been mentioned, but the newish pizza place near me, Pizza Vera, is a great little neighbourhood set-up. Run by an Italian family and they take great pride in the quality and authenticity of the fare. You can sit inside or outside (not on nights like tonight though, obviously) or take away. It's on the row of shops by Davenport Station. Only note of caution (relevant certainly to gentlemen of a certain age like myself..). Owing to the premises' small size maybe, there has been no inclusion of a WC. It's actually so near my house I can nip back if the need arises, as it is wont to after two large bottles of Peroni*. But obviously that's not an option for everyone! *or whatever tipple you want, it's bring your own booze (economical!)..and our excellent local Bargain Booze is just next door. I think you probably order soft drinks on site. Yes, agree with that, it's a great little place. It's become one of my favourites. Pizzas are absolutely delicious. Eat in or take out. Bring your own bottle. (Not many tables though.) Really friendly. They clearly care about what they are doing. A little gem.

Tat and vape shops should be put together somewhere outside of town / village centres. Some of the company signage on show is also shocking. The council needs to get a grip on this. They're all over the country, the option is usually an empty shop. Be interesting to see what becomes of the now vacant Hairlines on that strip of shops.

Unless there are actually facilities and I've somehow not seen them! Maybe through some kind of trapdoor or secret opening behind a framed picture.

Has anybody tried the Brooklyn quarter in Bramhall precinct? good reviews so far & food looks very good for the price. American breakfast & brunch place with steaks & burgers, open in the evening too. On my 'to try' list but first one on that list is cafe San Juan, gonna try a pre-train Colombian breakfast on Saturday. Brooklyn Quarter is incredible. My good pal Alex owns it who also has Big Grillie Style which is inside the Drawing Room Bramhall and has been a massive mainstay in the MCR food scene for years.

Seen reference to this n that, and kabana, on here for a rice and three. Neither touch cafe marhaba for me - and they do the best naan bread going as a bonus. Saw a lad go in to pick up 20 for a family dinner once - some going. Never been in, will give it a go for sure - don't get to manc land very often these days other than changing train but might be a nice pre gig stomach liner.
