It's just what he said in his post match. Fair enough in my opinion. Always been impressed by his standards and desire to do better, like Jim. Edit - I thought he made a more interesting comment about Hippo potentially getting the jump playing LWB. Doesn't seem like that sort of player to me.

Was good to have a 'proper' look at Tanto today. Thought he was very good all round, and brought a lot to the team. He'll be a major asset in the business end of the season.

Looks very much like Hippolyte did the rapey Ronaldo ‘siiiuuuu’ celebration when he scored. That immediately relegates him to the position of my least favourite county player I’m afraid.

I'm a really keen footbal fan but I've no idea what that is. Hippo played well yesterday though and I hope we see a lot more of that from him.

Couple of things from yesterday.
Why didn’t we have behind the goal as well? Earlier in the season in the cup we had the side and behind the goal, was much better. Someone said something about building work but didn’t see anything happening?
Secondly when did we resort to such brain dead pathetic bottom of the barrel constant chants of ‘paedo’ to anyone in sight? There was one particularly odd fella yesterday who just spent the whole first half shouting it at a steward. The steward didn’t react, nobody was laughing but he kept on with it. And then in the second half constant low level ‘Weaver is a paedo’, and stuff about him going to bed with kids and men. It’s such classless, witless idiocy. Just makes us look like cretins.
I know there’s always the ‘start your own song then’ response but why have we honed in on this particularly joyless line of abuse? Tbf the stuff in the second half was mainly a handful of giddy simpletons from the top of the Cheadle End but it still represents us. That’s the image and impression we’re leaving behind. It’s not intimidating, nor impressive. We can be, and often are, so much better.
I believe the drummer wasn’t allowed in yesterday. Saw him outside so guess he’d been turned away at the gate?

I'm glad I didn't hear that as I really hate that sort of shit, I thought the atmosphere was poor yesterday, it felt very non league.

As for the atmosphere feeling like non league i suppose the surroundings did not help with wetherby road still stuck in a non league timewarp and hopefully they,ll be back there next season for life.

I think it was largely because for the most part we were cruising it.

Same fans there and coming back from 2 nil down to win would have seen a greater improvement.

Atmosphere is always flatter without the drum..Same at Wimbledon...Walsall away struggled at times but admitedlly did pick up a fair bit...We were cruising at Hartlepool and the atmosphere was decent all the way through...Main difference the drum was there..I think from memory, the drum wasnt in for Grimsby home and that was flat as well.
