600 tickets is a pathetic allocation for an away end which holds 2000.
It’s like a 2 and half hour drive down the M5 for a big game.
Edit: noticed it says initial, still feels a bit pointless.

If/when we sell out this, will the additional allocation then go back on sale just to ST holders or straight onto general sale?
Although I'm a ST holder, and have 3 spots I can grab, there will be 4 of us heading down for this game so will have to wait for gen sale and hope to grab the 4 tickets that way

No idea if it's us or Swindon playing silly beggars but that away section clearly holds more than 600, I'm sure we're able to take more than 600 tickets off Swindon so why not just whack as many as we can on sale and send any unsold ones back? Or am I missing something?

Do they still use both or is it dependant on the numbers of away fans who go. Get the feeling now that clubs are only interested in selling tickets and not the numbers that eventually turn up for games. Can anyone on here seriously know now what they will be doing or able to do in the end of march.

I'd be jolly surprised if we sell enough tickets to worry about being sat in the open.

Did i dream this or did they try selling us some cheap kagool type things when we were put in their open end once.

600 is pathetic. I was planning to go to this one and am hoping the allocation doesn’t get snapped up by ST holders
Also, what’s the parking like around there? I’ve been tasked with dropping the family off at the sister-in-law’s in Reading on the way over

It also changes Stewarding numbers & Swindon (any home club) has to cover those costs .

Thats news to me that home clubs can charge the opposition team for unsold tickets they requested in a part of the ground they cannot use for home fans. If the allocation of 600 is sold out what will be the next allocation, 200 at a time. Some fans would then have to keep tabs on the ticket numbers allocated and possibly miss out a number of times before they get one. Not everone has time to keep applying for tickets either on line or at the ground.

I definitely remember occasions when we've been told that unsold tickets have been sent back to the home club.
