Accounts have dropped onto Companies House in the last 2 or 3 hours. A detailed look over the weekend but an immediate take: 1 Loss (first season back in the EFL) - £4.541m (£87k a week) 2. Total amount owed by Club - £9.843m, - increased by £5.7m in 12 months. The majority of this will be to Stott, who at the point of the accounts (30/6/23), had not converted it into equity. There's a post balance sheet event noted which says that this has now happened although there is nothing yet lodged at Companies House. (Issuing of new shares requires reporting to CH). 3. Quite unbelievably for a L2 club, (and probably for most L1 clubs as well) the average number of employees in the year was 337, an increase in the year of 97 from the previous year's 240. 4. Not much detail - they have taken the opportunity not to publish the income statement which would give a real insight into the costs and revenues. Nowt wrong with not publishing by the way - it's perfectly legal More when I've got an hour or two for a detailed perusal. By my reckoning the total loss in the 4 years since the takeover is £12.8m. As Dave Schofield notes above Stott's continued good health, success in his other businesses, and a continued interest are vital.

337 employees !!! But still can’t get the ticketing , retail or f&b offering right where they are literally losing sales from willing punters. I jthogit the courtyard would get better after the initial launch. Just read it cost £280k to install. .

Not how much it cost to build

Not how much it cost to build I’d doubt very much it includes the food and drink as that’s an ongoing cost (and income)

337 employees sounds a lot, but what we don’t know is how many of those are ticket barcode scanners / catering staff working 2-3 hours a week minimum wage once a fortnight.
Things like the Courtyard would have meant more staffing, and also things like the bag taggers outside the turnstiles.
It could just be that we’ve a lot more of those people employed directly through County, rather than subcontracted maybe?

We're in good shape in the league, win today we could be top, new EP stadium expansion plans, fantastic home crowds over 9k, well on course for automatic promotion and current favourites with bookies for top spot as of today. Get behind us, you know who you are!!

Figures always sound a lot especially for the ones who think in tens rather than thousands, but its more or less paying one single players wages who might actually be a flop.

I don't believe County are funded from Vita's performance anyway though, i though Mark Stott had a pot of money from the sale of a business/s? Not on the balance sheet, but we are ultimately funded by Stott and by whichever way chooses to divi up his money across his business'. (e.g. he'll presumably dip his hand in another business' pocket if County are struggling?) - speculating here but am assuming that as long as Stott has a bit of money then Profit / Loss of County specifically is fairly irrelevant?) Yes, and we will not be alone with these losses. Think fans are too worried about what has happened to us in the past and are always expecting another financial problem to pop up anytime soon.
