I am sure discussions about money bore the pants off many County Fans but given our recent history we should definitely pay attention...
This is a thread for all things financial and wherever possible it makes sense to keep it factual, relatable and accessible
Starting with the up to date financial performance as posted with Companies House; Kieron Maguire from The Price of Football Podcast provides simple, clear and easy to understand analysis, so that seems like a good place to start...

That year was a covid year so always bound to lose money and since that year we've probably spent the same amount of money on transfers over a couple of seasons
This year we spent 50 to 75k on Lewis and that was it transfer fee wise.

Perhaps the point is not whether we’ve spent 1 million or 10 million, it’s why we’ve ended up with a bunch of square pegs in round holes after the second closed season with DC as manager and the fifth(?) with a full-time DoF?

This is 7th transfer window for Simon Wilson and the 4th for Dave Challinor

93K a week? f*ck me. Not so long ago that was 6 months’ budget.

93K a week? f*ck me. Not so long ago that was 6 months’ budget. I remember us all laughing at Salford 3/4 years ago when they lost £40k a week 🫠

Very important intel Dave. County fans should definitely pay attention and ask questions, especially considering our history.

93K a week? f*ck me. Not so long ago that was 6 months’ budget. And that £93k a week was in Nat Lge. God alone knows what the results will look like for the year ended June '23, but we'll not know that for another 7 months or so. That year (21/22) the accounts showed 240 employees ... again the next set of accounts will be interesting in that regard.

Yes but that's for the rare breed goats and vegetable patches as part of the ground redevelopment not the playing side

When do we start the new administration thread? Next time we lose a game?
