I'm happy for them re. their investment, but I could do without the media fellatio, and the obnoxiousness of some of the people associated with them (Tozer, our old friend, that melt who called up the ticket office to gloat when they knocked us out of the FA Trophy) The media fellatio is their business model and it's working well for them. In response to Tozer and the ticket office goon, they'd cite Challinor (for his F you Wrexham rendition) and the plane that flew over the Racecourse. We're two similar clubs both enjoying a sudden upturn in fortunes and each having to endure our fair share of numpties.

We're two similar clubs both enjoying a sudden upturn in fortunes and each having to endure our fair share of numpties. I think the Challinor in the Albert thing gets a bit overblown. He was drunk celebrating with County fans and someone happened to be filming. It wasn’t done as an actual attack on them just as a celebration. That whole chant got really under their skin, no matter how often it was explained that it was Chorley first and really not that serious. I did find the plane cringy. In the same way the weirdo phoning our ticket office and plastering it on social media was. I've never seen Wrexham as rivals but more as a club we share a lot in common with. Being part Welsh myself the Wales thing has never bothered me and they were the team we played in the earliest County game I can remember so in that regard there’s always been a soft spot for me. Their long suffering loyal fans deserve the success they’re having now in the same way that we do and even though I wouldn’t swap places I’m generally happy for them. I would like us to stay ahead of them as long as we can do. Their bandwagon fans are irritating, I really enjoy fans of Premier League clubs trying to explain the lower leagues and non league to me because they’ve watched Welcome to Wrexham - they don’t even seem to realise we’re the club that beat them to the title in that first season. But overall I’m happy for them to carry on being the media darling and letting us fly under the radar. Their long suffering fans get the success they need, and we get to enjoy upsetting the apple cart from time to time while on our own successful ride. I also enjoyed the first season of the documentary and have no beef with their owners who really do seem to have “got it” since taken over. That doesn’t stop me thinking some of their fans are deluded over how good some of their squad is. Mullin is quality but he’s not “Championship quality” he’s completely unproven above this level. Okonkwo is young, and better than the string of bad keepers they’ve had for years, but he’s not the second coming or best keeper outside the top flight. It’s not all of them, but it is a lot.

Thankfully there will still be matches on “free-to-air” so presumably one or both of the BBC and ITV have retained their rights. Looks like TNT’s deal is in addition.

None of that cup should never be hidden behind a paywall in my eyes, same with international games but maybe I'm just old fashioned.

I’m just pointing out that (as I understand from what has been said in articles) the amount of free to air games isn’t changing. There are just going to be extra games on TNT

There are just going to be extra games on TNT OK, but who will be getting the semi finals. BBC or itv depending on which one has it. I think I read somewhere that BT will also be able to show it but not too sure on that but 100% know anyone will be able to watch the finals

It'll also be interesting to see who gets first kick of games too.

Anyone else watching Wolves v Coventy? Its been a cracking 2nd half with some great footy. Lots of drama with Coventry leading 1-0 for most of the half, but Wolves go 2-1 up with a couple of minutes to go and think they've won it. Then Coventry score twice in added time to win in in the 100th minute11

Watched the 2nd half, thought Cov had blown it after the missed chances.

Watched the 2nd half, thought Cov had blown it after the missed chances. Me too, they should have been about 4-0 up before Wolves scored. Not sure how a high boot cutting a player's nose doesn't at least warrant a booking, particularly when you have VAR (although I guess that is only used for red cards the ref has missed).

Great game
Saw a stat saying Coventry could play in the Cup Final and Play Off Final 24 hours apart and Leicester could theoretically too.
