Due to a classic bit of parent/offspring miscommunication, I've ended up with a spare ticket for this game in Yellow Block of the Pop Side. Does anyone want it for face value/a small YB discount?

If I wasn’t working till 4am in central london on Friday night/Saturday morning I’d be really tempted to drive up just for the day

I said in October we’re going to comfortably win the league. Still think we will. The only threat to that is what Wrexham do in January. Mansfield one point behind should they win both games in hand. New Year's Day could be lively. They are definitely flying under the radar. They've only lost one league match;if they hadn't drawn so many they could be a few points ahead of us. It won't be easy. The pessimist in me says we are going to lose a few until the return of injured players. Plus bedding in any new signings it might be some time before the side is settled again. This could be crucial for our prospects this season. Not sure I agree with "win comfortably" but am happy to be proved wrong!

I try not to be too political on here, but the sight of an advert for their local MP (aptly under an advert for nuts) confirmed my worst fears. 30pLee was in the crowd as well.

Really they are a match made in heaven or hell depending how you look at them. He certainly would not look out of place at field ill.

Weird how when I bought tickets for Mansfield and Notts a few weeks ago, it was Notts that were on our heels, and Mansfield a bit further back. They've swapped positions. Not weird - Mansfield looked class when they beat us and they had a makeshift team out (although we were just finding our feet). Mansfield us and Wrexham for me.
