I used the fanhub app to establish how many away games I've attended this season FanHub's tally wouldn't work for me because I didn't buy all my away tickets on my own season ticket, so I wanted to check I had enough games to qualify. The surest way seemed to be to check how many receipt emails I had from the ticketing system, and I was relieved to find that the answer was 14. you've only missed 3 away games all season

The actual figures are: Away games attended: 14 Tickets bought on my ST (including those that haven't been played yet): 14 Tickets bought by someone else for me: 6

As a group of friends we have one season ticket bar code, generally take it in turns buying aways. Not done 10 but just under but neither of us will have 5 in our order history.

Just realised tickets are only £15. Cheapest away tickets we've had all season? £15 for such amazing facilities. Bargain.

It’s also shit for exiles. Seen stories of people who (for the sake of an example I’ll use Swansea Cardiff) live in Swansea but are Cardiff fans, having to travel to Cardiff before dawn to get a club coach to and from Swansea, to then travel back to Swansea under their own steam. There was a Burnley fan who lived next door to Ewood Park (or it might have been a Blackburn fan who lived next to Turf Moor) who had this exact thing happen to him. No idea if he managed to slip the police escort operation after the game, or come to an arrangement with a friendly police officer to walk him home. Hope it was a Burnley fan. Seriously though, yes, it’s a bit crap but nobody’s forcing you to buy a ticket.

Will this infallible ticketing system know who’s bought 10+ or 5+ and correctly allocate their account to the appropriate window? Call me sceptical…. Bring back the season ticket book and voucher A, B, C etc. Not the same these days, queuing up at 9am on a Sunday morning and that old fella who had Sat in his deckchair at the front of the queue since 5pm Saturday night.😀 Memories of collecting vouchers for the League Cup run & also the promotion run-in back in the day. Sat in the Cheadle End, stewards handing out vouchers on the stairways “take one, pass them along” Probably as efficient & fair as the current on-line system!

Taken from email tonight... 1. 10:00am on Friday 9th February to season ticket holders who have attended 10+ away games this season. 2. 10:00am on Monday 12th February to season ticket holders who have attended 5+ away games this season. 3. 10:00am on Tuesday 13th February to all season ticket holders.
Any remaining tickets will then go on general sale from 10am on Wednesday 14th February. If you do meet any of the above criteria, you will be notified on the day of release that's just what was In the article when they got annouced yesterday wasn't it? Sorry, I didn't see the bit in the article where it says that fans would be notified when they reach each criteria, so that's why I posted it. I'll pay more attention at the back next time.

Same. Mentions using your email rather than barcode so will see how it goes. Can't remember if that was the case for Harrogate or not.

We are victims of our own success having so many fans willing to spend time of getting these away tickets and follow the team like some do. Might be annoying and a ball ache but better than being a fan of a club that has a row rather than a seat to themselves at an away game.

Took 30 seconds that, fair play.
It looks like it now recognises when you're logged in to your account and uses the email address associated with it to decide if you're eligible, instead of the barcode(s) associated with the account.
