I'm 2 games away from requirement therefore will be in the 2nd bracket also. Wonder if this is preparation for Wrexham tickets i.e we brought this requirement in during the season to limit any future noise? I hope the Wrexham game becomes a non event other than them having to give us the guard of honour on to the pitch. You may be underestimating the demand for away tickets if that happens. Sounds well worth the 500 mile round trip to me!

Good initiative this. I do feel like tickets won't sell out in the initial sale, so season ticket holders in the next sale will have a chance to bag some.

What is a bubble game exactly? Match ticket only available when purchased alongside official travel. Everyone gets on a bus at EP, straight to the Racecourse (no pub), match and then straight back to EP. All has to be booked as a package with no way of purchasing the individual elements separately. But as has already been pointed out, it's highly unlikely that will happen. Only way that could ever happen is a PO game against a team like harrogate with a small away allocation with time to organise the coaches. By the time when the wrexham game is being played it could be just a week before we know how important that fixture really is. If say everything for us is sorted out at the accrington game wrexham could be just a dead game that means the result has no bearing on anything. In that case i can see a few tickets being available to a good home.

I've heard they are mega strict with alcohol too, police on coaches etc. For the Swansea Cardiff bubble games they get them to the ground stupidly early and keep them there late. Basically turning a fun local derby into a grim long away day with no beers.

Seen stories of people who (for the sake of an example I’ll use Swansea Cardiff) live in Swansea but are Cardiff fans, having to travel to Cardiff before dawn to get a club coach to and from Swansea, to then travel back to Swansea under their own steam.

The reason for stuff like that is to make demand for tickets easier by putting loads off the game. Fine if that was the case, but more likely treating football fans like the lowest thing on earth again. Just give us your money, shut up and then f*ck off approach will eventually bite em on the backside.

What if you can't remember how many away tickets you've bought...? Should I get counting or is there a purchase history option? I used the fanhub app to establish how many away games I've attended this season

Just realised tickets are only £15. Cheapest away tickets we've had all season?

I used the fanhub app to establish how many away games I've attended this season Unless you've paid by cash (don't know if you can) the ticket office would have a record. Having said that we purchased our away end tickets for Walsall direct from Fellows Park.

There was a Burnley fan who lived next door to Ewood Park (or it might have been a Blackburn fan who lived next to Turf Moor) who had this exact thing happen to him. No idea if he managed to slip the police escort operation after the game, or come to an arrangement with a friendly police officer to walk him home.

Tonight’s email also mentioned that they will be emailing all eligible ST holders on the day of each wave of tickets being released.
Be interesting to see if the right people get the right email on the right day, and what time of day each email arrives…

What if you can't remember how many away tickets you've bought...? Should I get counting or is there a purchase history option? I used the fanhub app to establish how many away games I've attended this season FanHub's tally wouldn't work for me because I didn't buy all my away tickets on my own season ticket, so I wanted to check I had enough games to qualify. The surest way seemed to be to check how many receipt emails I had from the ticketing system, and I was relieved to find that the answer was 14.
