How do they define a 'cross completed'? I once borrowed A Cross Completed from the central library… A new perspective on one of the great issues of our times? Or well meant but meaningless guff that served no purpose other than generating a job for a sports sciences graduate?

Are they still kicking the ball better and harder than we do too? well when crossing the ball they must be doing something better than us Being above them in the table having played 2 games less says we’re doing more right than they are.

How many goals did Wrexham score from crosses yesterday? none but doesn't change the fact that the crossing was good imo. Alot of crosses beat the first man and went past the first post so into good areas. Our crosses vs Salford we completed 1 cross - 5% success rate Wrexham crosses vs tranmere they completed 14 - 29% success rate. Wrexham fans are slating their crossing yesterday

I assume it's the Sky commentary. No idea where it's from but it's definitely not the Sky commentary. I can happily report that the Sky fella managed to pronounce both Tanto and Ben's names correctly. Fair enough, that's very odd then.

Should be a statue for Paddy Almost plays as many minutes as Fraser and Ethan. The team were awful first half but he kept trying in what is not his preferred position and came good second half. What a work ethic Just an observation on Richards I can see his quiet personality in some of his play. If something doesn’t come off he momentarily stops rather than immediately responding. Interesting prospect though. Sorry if a Marsden as not read thread but DC made reference to how quiet Rico is as a personality in his postmatch interview. Basically encouraging him to become more outwardly arrogant in order to reach the levels he's capable of. More generally praised the young lad's contribution, not just the flair and trickery, also the working back and winning headers. Clearly really rates the lad and sees him as a genuine contender for more regular starts.

Not scapegoating at all. He definitely played his part in last nights 2nd half. But you can't deny he's not been as effective as we'd of liked since his return. Nowhere near as effective as he can be, but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m seeing people claim we’re a worse side with him in the team, yet he was involved in every decent chance against Newport and in both goals last night. He’s still making a very worthwhile contribution. One thing I will say about Wootton; he never hides. First half Thursday I thought he strove to make the best of some pretty desperate service- aimless long balls forward. Second half when the long game looked more deliberate and he had runners off him and at close quarters, he was able to be much more effective. Still not looking 100% matchfit to me, but I'd bet he'll give us some really valuable input over these last games.

Micky Gray (ex-Sunderland) was co-comms. (think he lives locally as used to see him at Stockport station on Monday mornings sometimes, so was probably the cheapest option for Sky) He lives in Woodford on the new Redrow estate Must say I'm not keen on this influx of fully-certified mackems into the Borough. Granted it's just the one for now, but we wouldn't want it getting out of hand. Needs keeping an eye on.

I don't know why we try to play the hood ball stuff. It never works and we play our best football when it's on the floor. Is it just the easy option because Wootton is on the pitch Just to mention that our old friend 'Hoof Guy' was in evidence Thursday night. Somewhere to the left of goal, central section of the terrace. Nearest to a 'must-attend' game he'll have all season, I would have thought. Nailed on for twenty reprises of his trademark cry each half.
