MK had a game called off due to International Call ups earlier this season and our fixture is due to be played the same weekend as an international break. I'm guessing someone wise will be able to confirm which player/Country it was that was playing but potentially might affect our game with them on 23rd March?? Surely wouldn’t have been picked for the telly of that was likely though?

The Citizen understands along with Tommy Smith's call-up to join New Zealand, Mo Eisa has been selected by Sudan and Phoenix Scholtz has been included in Northern Ireland's U19s squad. That was in November. New Zealand and Northern Ireland are both playing that weekend, can't see anything for Sudan. They're not listed to play again until summer. Worst case for us would be Hippo and Touray going off again but doesn't look like there's anything for Grenada or Gambia that weekend. Hopefully we'll be right.

Exeter or something?

Eisa went on loan as said and Smith left them aswell. Never even heard of the young lad, rarely in their squads for matches. Won't be a problem I don't think.

Just on the atmosphere at EP these days, I think the lack of it is due to quite a few factors: 1. The continued dispersal of people who want to sing around the ground. It used to be that if you wanted to sing you sat in the upper tiers and usually as central as possible. Over the years as it's become just a creche of unruly kids up there and people have got sick of it and moved elsewhere around the ground - LT1 being the the big one but also there's more yellow blockers and people (like me) who have just moved a few blocks away (UT1). 2. Newbies. The above combined with several thousand new people has meant that there are thousands and thousands of new fans who (i'm generalising here) just don't sing. They are either people who just enjoy the football and have started coming to watch us play or they are new actual County fans who just haven't bought into the culture of singing. 3. Success. This breeds a certain lethargy. I'm guilty of this for sure, just turning up and expecting us to beat teams without doing our bit. Aside from certain games, the atmosphere has got worse and worse since the NLN champions season. I'm hoping our current mini malaise can inspire something in our fan base. 4. Phones. They are more distracting than ever aren't they. All of the above has a huge effect. But items one and two would be the big one. This is further reinforced by the fact that away (when we're all grouped together and there aren't as many new fans) our support seems absolutely fine but it's flat as a pancake at home. Or is it just a change again in culture of the average football fan. I,m old enough to remember going to a game before the days of singing or chanting so are we slowly going back to those days. Its not as if other home grounds of our opponents are much different to EP ones either where some are far worse.

Another game when any result could easily happen. MK have had a few really shock defeats that go alongside their victories. As for us we have no idea what the line up will be or how we,ll perform either.

If we don't win we're not going up IMO.

Any team that has come and tried to play expansive football has been put to the sword.
Teams that come, stay compact and try to frustrate us have success.
I was really worried about the Wrexham home game and this has the same vibes.
Anybody who opens up against us are playing a dangerous game and I think this lot will.
DC, and I cannot be bothered digging as just a feeling, generally wins the big clutch games. He's done it to us with Fylde, Hartlepool and with us against Salford and then Chesterfield away and Torquay at home after we lost to Wrexham in-between.
It's on us now as fans to make sure we don't make it shit and edgy. I know we need to be inspired but there is a lot to be said for relaxing the players with a big atmosphere. Maybe we need to look at ourselves a little.
