Great result but for the first time I've noticed the pop side roof has multiple leaks. Glad I wasn't sat under one..!!
I noticed they had at least 3 supporters in the family stand who were begging the stewards to move at half time. Not sure what they do when Ken says exit the same way you entered. Must be confusing.

Love Tanto. Getting better all the time. His closing down must frighten the enemy! How many offsides though? Reminds me of a puppy straining at the leash! Surely someone must be telling him he has most back lines on toast from a standing start? You could say he terrifies them... I was getting a bit frustrated at the offsides, but that third goal was down to a number of things, one of them being him constantly treading that fine line. (Also his quality to set up the tap in - I thought at the time he'd gone round the keeper, but he totally did him underneath.) I wonder if he'd have scored half a dozen more this season if he didn't tread that fine line. He has the pace I dare say. It's a fine line I guess...oh. God help oppositions if the playmakers time their passes a bit more clinically (as Timberwolf intimated in an earlier thread). Dangerous player to say the least. Must absolutely terrify opposition defences with that acceleration (and his controlling and finishing has also been superb this past few games/season).

Paddy was incredible, popping up all over the pitch, never stopped running. One goal and two assists in the first three, involved in everything else, brilliant through ball for Wootton second half, and an important defensive header from our area late on. Astonishing fitness levels from a player some were writing off as 'over the hil' earlier in the season. I certainly thought he was in the decline a short while ago but he’s definitely upped his game recently I thought he was absolutely superb yesterday. Controlled everything I had the sense.

Seeing it from behind the goal in real time it looked weird and looked like the keeper should have done better but watching it back from a different angle it's hit with such swerve and dip, it's not a soft goal. If you're looking to find fault with the keeper you could say he had a lot of time to set himself but at the same time, he's probably not expecting a misplaced pass to be allowed to roll for that length of time and fall at the feet of a totally unchallenged attacker CLE admitting he didn’t hit it how he’d like to - Sorry if that’s taken more joy out of it for you BM I'd gotten 'the taste' for Old Peciliar last night. My apologies if I came across a bit irritable.

Talking of leaks in the roof, Railway end lack of a roof and that rain storm and defo not wanting to sound ungrateful to Mark but selling tickets at full price to sit in a roofless deluge is not good enough when his business is related to property and he has been here for a while now. Not a good way to treat potential casuals/ new fans.or anybody really

on the topic of stewarding, what’s with all the ticket checks? Some young lad was trying to check all tickets for those in UT4/5. Even when coming back from a piss or whatever. Supervisor gave some rubbish about people not sitting in right seats and council shutting down part of the ground. But no issues in UT4/5 at all - plenty of free seats and only bother was 5hzt caused by the checks. Other minor gripe was Hi-hi coming on a bit soon after end of the match. Getting dangerously close to goal music stuff IMO. the club had been informed by fans that "hi-ho" song was coming on too late after the game as majority people leave at the final whistle (really wish we as a fanbase didn't leave so quickly) so they played it quickly after the game yesterday. Noticed there was no music as the players were walking out which is another thing the club have been told shouldn't be a thing. I think it's all about finding a balance and that's not going to happen straight away Regarding the stewards I can only assume the club are being extra careful regarding safety (even if everything is completely fine) due to the ground developments. That’s proper weird behaviour, if you’re so desperate to hear HI Ho bloody silver lining that you go complain to the club don’t leave before it’s been played. Music should never be played over fans celebrations, thought we had people at the club with more of a clue than that

And on the Franchise Dons.. fair play to them I suppose for sticking to their footballing principles, but they looked like a team who could really have done with a Plan B, once it became clear Tanto and Co were going to press them to smithereens as they tried to play out. More credit I feel due to their fans, who seemed numerous and ready to stay and watch the hammering unfold. Although I did notice Ken waited until nearly 90 mins before advising them that the way out of the ground was the same as the way in except in the opposite direction- so perhaps up till that moment they were just hopelessly disorientated and didn't know where they were at all. Perhaps some of them are still there. Overall- just a massive three points this feels like. Can't wait for the Easter double now- bring it on! Their manager mike williamson has just carried on from his time at gateshead though with zero other plans and is the reason both teams have been turned over in games against lesser opposition they should have won. Both also have a soft underbelly also. Fine having principles as long as they work week in week out but they never do. Mike Williamson ie the ex-Newcastle centre-half, I see. Had no idea he was in charge there. Curiously, I remember him as one of those 'cultured' kind of central defenders, graceful to look at and comfortable on the ball, but lacking that Ash Palmer-esque warrior energy. I might be being terribly unfair to him as a player as these are vague recollections of him at best. But his team's style certainly matched those vague recollections yesterday.

I'd like us to sign that No.50 of theirs for next season. He had a decent pass on him but he didn’t track runners and gave away the ball for the second goal. Others can do the donkey work, I thought he was a class act.
