Is it advertised as an open end with uncovered seating?

It's just an absolute shithole though the Railway End, can't wait for something decent to be down that end.
And I'm saying that as someone who never sits in there but just has to look at.
I'm sure the club will agree.

Is there no way of getting a temporary cover over the stand considering it will be as is for a while? I'm no structural Engineer but I'm not sure it could be done without sticking posts in the view. Sure there was a temporary cover at the end of there stand at solihull close to the away end the last time we played there.

Is it advertised as an open end with uncovered seating? Just had a look and it's not super explicit on the ticket page that it's open end and exposed to the elements. However to buy a ticket you have to hover over one of the dots and to be fair it is pretty clear on the thumbnail photo that pops up that you are buying a ticket in an open end. Perhaps some kind of warning on the ticket page that its an open end and to take precautions over inclement weather would be advisable. I think half the issue is that the people who generally get tickets to this end are last minute ticket getters who are curious neutrels who have come to see what the fuss is about - which is a shame as a bad experience in the RE would be very offputting. Your RE match goer is probablly not generally an ardent lower division football fan who knows how horrific it can be in an open end in winter.

An open end at a 3pm KO on a hot summers afternoon can be just as bad if not worse for some. There is a limit you can take off but not put on. The trouble now is that so many people just do not have the correct clothes in their wardrobes for rainy weather unless they are out in the wet day in day out. Even seen kids at bus stops getting soaked waiting for the school bus especially lads who think not wearing coats helps their street cred.
