Putting as a poll in the hope the club see it and do something.

We are looking to attract an extra 8k fans over the next few years with the expansion plans, so why not take a hit on getting a few new fans in for the remaining 3 home games of the season. I think we should simply charge a fiver or maybe even a tenner for a stand with awful facilities, and a terrible 'matchday experience'(a bad term, I know) £20 is a joke of a price for the Railway End as it is now, and don't blame so many for leaving during the 1st half today.

If I’d paid full price in there today as a casual football fan when there’s no prem. I don’t think I’d be too quick coming back. Imagine if this casual fan had brought a kid. Think that would put me off football for life! It’s far too expensive to be sat outside.

Maybe the club can do an offer for the Railway End for last few games, and after today, then fair play to anyone buying a ticket in that stand.

There was supposed to be 5. It explained it all out and that there was 1 game missing to make the 5 even if you include the play off

Maybe it just hasn’t been needed. Not sure Wimbledon, Accrington and Morecambe can be classed as Cat A, regardless of how important the games might be!

Older fans have all seen games in the open with rain but they were standing to do it which is nowhere as bad as sitting in it. More than often i get totally wet walking the dog but at the end of the walk i,m home to dry out. At the RE you watch the game but then have to go on some journey after even if its a short walk home. Its not worth more than a tenner in there and an older kid for a quid.

We've all seen the development plans & they look brilliant & it's a no brainer that they start with the railway end as that would have the least impact on capacity whilst building, but if there's going to be any kind of delay in starting the work & the railway stay's as it is for another couple of seasons then the club seriously need to look at reducing ticket prices for it, make it a tenner or put some temporary cover over it. I can't think of another club in the EFL nowadays where home fans are exposed to the elements like that & expected to pay the price charged (maybe Forest Green or Sutton? not sure? either way we're the only ones or in a very small embarrassing minority)
Edit:- Of course, just remembered Wrexham have an uncovered stand for home fans but that is supposedly temporary.

Wrexhams is temporary as they are getting a new 5k kop stand. I believe Wrexhams stand development starts in summer and it's affecting people in the side stand because some of that will be closed and season ticket holders will have to move. About the RE though our work starts in January/February of 2025. Ideally it would of been great to start in summer but with consultation still going on and assume planning permission still not be submitted I don't see another reason why it can't start the day after the season finishes

Seems this cannot be done so you have to desrupt the end of one or the start of another. Making sure that does not happen for two seasons is the main consideration. i personally would start at the end of one season therefore you have only a problem at the start of the next as starting in jan/feb could easily go over into the next as well.

Those extra 600 seats will mitigate the loss of the Railway End for part of next season. But those 2 parts of the development are called 1a and 1b, so I think one will run into the other.

Just watched a YouTube blog Dad n lad going round the grounds... they went to the game on Saturday in the railway end The young lad ...about 12 years old.. said he missed a load of the first half sheltering in the toilets he looked frozen
They sacked it at half time said they were frozen and soaked Says it all to me I know its been open and exposed for its entire existence but its about time the club dropped the price a little for that area...what do they say ...for a better fan experience
