I unknowingly opted for e-ticket when I bought our STs, but had an email the other day saying my physical ticket was ready to collect. Just had another email now to apologise and say there isn’t a physical version and the email was sent in error. I don’t mind using the e-ticket but thought I’d share if anyone is in the same boat and was confused by the email the other day. Both emails also had my brother’s name on despite all other emails being addressed to me, but that’s not the end of the world! In the same boat. Just had the same email's. I know i opted for a physical ticket when booking but the flawless ticketing system has put me down for e-tickets. Called the club to rectify and they want £10 per ST to issue a physical card. Does anyone know if you had to pay when originally ordering ? Abit annoying that it's being presented as my fault when i know i selected a physical ticket. Just as a follow up from my post earlier for any non-posters etc. I was at the fan forum so spoke to someone at the ticket office. They've asked me to email the club to look at sorting it. Hopefully won't need to pay for it as someone also mentioned at the forum that quite a few have had the same issue.

I had the same issue but rang the ticket office next day & was sorted.collected physical ticket after work today.No queue s/t & blackpool ticket 30 seconds.

I checked, double checked, and checked again that I’d selected physical ticket before hitting purchase and the system still f*cked it. Thankfully the ticket office sorted it out straight away at the time and I have my physical ticket. I know why the club want to charge people for extra print runs but it’s more than a few people it’s happened to. The more people who complain the more likely they are to realise it’s a cock up with Future Ticketing - again.

e-ticket for me, but I'm seriously tempted to print the QR code out at high res and glue/Sellotape it to an old credit card so it fits nicely in my (physical) wallet. Might even get it laminated 😂

Went for ours around 12.30 ish, about 6 people in front, most of them seemed to be having a “debate” with the staff around physical/e tickets and not being happy about being asked to pay £10 for a physical card. Popped in shop, came out and was around a dozen in the queue with some seemingly having the same issue. Would appear we either have a number of fans who don’t take a lot of care/notice when ordering their tickets or there has been a glitch in the system, hmm, I wonder which one is more likely. Think a fair bit of goodwill is at risk with all of this.

Just to add to my original post, the club seemed to basing their position on the confirmation e-mail which in most cases with those complaining did indeed have a confirmation showing “e-ticket”. However as some on here have said they were sure they’d selected the physical option but then realised the confirmation showed e ticket, does sound like a possible system error and to be honest I can understand that many people wouldn’t have checked their confirmation mail at the time and that’s now costing them £10 a ticket.
