I defo selected physical ticket as want the card for my lad, he's had a season ticket every year since he was born and want to carry that on and he has them to look back on. No idea if I put collection or delivery, and we've since moved house so doubt I'll ever see the thing now. But there was a QR code attached to the email confirmation so I'll just use that.
Obviously the Apple Wallet link doesn't work, which is a bit of a blow, but I'll likely just the QR code every week.

Went for ours around 12.30 ish, about 6 people in front, most of them seemed to be having a “debate” with the staff around physical/e tickets and not being happy about being asked to pay £10 for a physical card. Popped in shop, came out and was around a dozen in the queue with some seemingly having the same issue. Would appear we either have a number of fans who don’t take a lot of care/notice when ordering their tickets or there has been a glitch in the system, hmm, I wonder which one is more likely. Think a fair bit of goodwill is at risk with all of this. The club need to hold their hands up and accept it’s a glitch. This many people won’t have accidentally selected e ticket.

Tom Mahon’s response that people had mistakenly selected e ticket made me a bit prickly. I checked, double checked, and checked again that I’d selected physical ticket before hitting purchase and the system still f*cked it. Thankfully the ticket office sorted it out straight away at the time and I have my physical ticket. I know why the club want to charge people for extra print runs but it’s more than a few people it’s happened to. The more people who complain the more likely they are to realise it’s a cock up with Future Ticketing - again. Yeah i noticed that too. Thought he came across really well but after all the issues we've had with ticketing i think they have to accept that there's more than a chance it's messed up again. He did come across well even if I didn’t like what he’s said about the season ticket cards and his answer to my question. If hundreds of people have all turned round and said the same thing it’s definitely more likely that it’s a problem with the system than they’ve all made the same bizarre error.

It was defo a system problem. I only ended up ordering physical tickets because someone on here (stranded possibly) pointed out that it reset on its own. It did it twice with me before the third time actually saving as a physical ticket. Crap. Just to add to my original post, the club seemed to basing their position on the confirmation e-mail which in most cases with those complaining did indeed have a confirmation showing “e-ticket”. However as some on here have said they were sure they’d selected the physical option but then realised the confirmation showed e ticket, does sound like a possible system error and to be honest I can understand that many people wouldn’t have checked their confirmation mail at the time and that’s now costing them £10 a ticket. While there’s an argument that people should check their confirmation email I bet that a significant number of people aren’t as anxious as I am when it comes to things like this - and they shouldn’t have to.

Yep, same for me. It's piss-poor and shouldn't still be happening after all the known issues over the last couple of years. Worked alright for me, although the buy a new ticket option took a few minutes to actually appear it wasn't as late as 15. The only thing I had was I selected collect physical card from EP, but after getting the payment boxes I checked back and it had switched to e-ticket. No biggie, changed it again and placed my order. Email arrived saying E-Ticket in the box where I expected it to say collect physical card from EP. It could just be a display error, but I've emailed them just incase. Alrigh everyone. Physical season ticket shenanigans ahead. While ordering my ticket I selected physical ticket as my option. When it came time to put card details in I scrolled back up to check that it was still set to physical ticket and saw it had switched to e ticket. Changed it back to physical ticket and paid. Got the email and it said e-ticket on it. I emailed the club shop to check that I was also able to collect a physical ticket and have subsequently been told that they’ve changed it to physical ticket for me. Might be worth checking for anyone else expecting a physical ticket. And the follow up after I contacted the ticket office.

Got a reminder to pick up our ST’s this mornings JG. Only a minor thing really but when I went to renew as one of the tickets was changing to a concession (I’m now officially old !)all of our details were updated for all 4 tickets. So dates of birth were confirmed, addresses added (3 different ones) and e-mails added for each individual. Despite all of that the e-mail comes to my inbox this morning with my sons name in the header ! Same for me.. I’m the lead ticket and emails come to my account but addressed to him.

Bloody hell,reading this thread makes me realise that I don't know where my season ticket is, or indeed whether I opted to collect it and if so whether I've actually done that already or not. All in all glad I'm realising all this with three days to go before the opening fixture, I could be needing them.
