Being the sad statto that I am, I've looked at away allocations across League One this season. The list is below - excl those that won't be in League One and incl Rotherham, Mansfield and Wrexham. Lowest is Oxford with 1,012 and highest is Wigan with 4,200. 15 of them are between 1,100 and 1,900.
Barnsley 3,183
Blackpool 2,135
Bolton 2,600
Bristol Rovers 1,342
Burton 1,628
Cambridge 1,463
Charlton 2,010
Cheltenham 1,520
Derby 3,096
Exeter 1,329
Lincoln 1,900
Mansfield 1,510
Northampton 1,473
Orient 1,208
Oxford 1,012
Peterborough 1,674
Reading 1,841
Rotherham 2,444
Shrewsbury 1,656
Stevenage 1,384
Wigan 4,200
Wrexham 1,141
Wycombe 1,800

We'd be the lowest then if we continue to use the Railway End ourselves.

We'd be the lowest then if we continue to use the Railway End ourselves. Yep, ours is 900 isn't it? Do you think for some of the larger followings we'll revert to giving them the Railway & a bit of the popside again? Let's be honest there were quite a few games this season where the Railway was sparsely populated.

If the club can sell to home fans then they should; I'd rather a half-full Railway that our fans can buy tickets for as late as they need to rather than accommodate more away fans.

The Railway End isn't popular with County fans in winter and it can sell very slowly, even when the covered stands have sold out, unless we have a really meaningful game. Why not take the opportunity to make revenue, if the tickets aren't going to be sold to County fans. We might see other teams being more generous with our away allocations as a result too. The big question is when the development of the Railway End will start and will we completely lose that stand next season?

With planning permission not having been applied for yet it'll be this time next year before anything happens surely, can't see stands being demolished during a season

4,200 County fans at Wigan on the opening day would be alright!

The big question is when the development of the Railway End will start and will we completely lose that stand next season? They’re extending the DB stand by 600 seats first then working on the RE immediately after. I’m guessing if we keep the RE for home fans that’ll more or less cover it in the depths of winter. That’s if they get to start in early 25 as they’ve suggested. As mentioned elsewhere it’s all dependent upon when the planning permission is granted.

I think we're going to end up with a lot of away fans in home stands unless we use a system that limits tickets to previous customers only. We need the new Railway End as soon as.

1800 is the minimum we’d get at Reading. Their stadium is half empty, they’ve given up to 4000 away tickets.
When I moved down here 11 years ago my local game was Oxford City. Reading finished 7th in the Championship that season. Now we are playing them in the League! I know most people don’t give a sh!t about Reading but I am buzzing 🤣

Yeah; we've already done that this season so should (hopefully) be easily done again.

It’d be my only feasible Tuesday night fixture! Straight there from work (via the Allied Arms)
