Pick the bones out of that one .
There are no right or wrong answers of course but overall I think the fans were short changed . 5 mins into the season and we are scrambling around to put a team out . These injuries , many in training , what’s going on exactly ? On the recruitment front if we have any players we are looking at that have been injury prone leave them well alone ,however cheap they might be and remember what good value the original Glass back Powell has been . Days of watching County play West Ham , Southampton , Everton Middlesbrough and the excitement of a Cup run , seem long ago to me
And in 5 mins of watching Hughes tonight I was left wondering why Bryne and Wright have been let go .
And now here’s to a 6-1 win at Blackpool on Saturday to make it all feel better

It most certainly is unsustainable, yes. And we all need to stop pretending that it's normal or that it's just bad luck because it f*cking isn't. It's gone on for ages now and it's getting worse rather than better. It's ruined our pre season plans and we now find ourselves having to field a load of 16 year olds because of it, we're in August here for Christ's sake. Hughes just like Bate was an impact injury. Not sure there is anything you can do about that. Maybe the knocks here and there wouldn't be such a problem if we didn't have so many other injuries randomly happening all the f*cking time. It's not bad luck at this point, there's an issue somewhere

I can see the logic of why he's done it but I also agree that it's a bit of a pisstake for the fans, even at a tenner. It’s not though is it…? He literally told everyone on Saturday the team would be full of kids and he expected a difficult night. If people went tonight expecting anything other than a hiding/ pre season vibe then that’s on them not Challinor. I'd wager the vast majority paid for their tickets before Saturday though.

I've banged on and on about the injuries. It's massive thing.
I'm not that bothered tonight because I expected it and I don't blame players, manager, DOF for a second.
But the injuries have cost the club a potentially great night tonight. When we got back in the league, we wanted nights like this.
Wilson and DC have put together a fantastic squad. If we had say 3 injuries tonight in the squad which is probably average at other clubs, we could still have made 10 injuries and put out a really good side.
People from the outside will look tonight and think Stockport must have a piss poor squad when they make changes and can only play kids. Yet we know the squad is excellent.
Please, please, please sort out the strength and conditioning and injury prevention team.

Low point of the night, the morons at the back doing the Poznan. Oh and the stewards demanding to see your ticket to get back in UT everytime you went to the concourse. Ridiculous

I reckon I'll get told off for this and I probably should wait for a diagnosis but Sam Hughes. Comes into a new club, not a starter, gets his chance, gets a kick, gets up runs round alright and then goes down to get subbed off. Walks around the pitch and down the tunnel without as much of a limp. Am I being harsh to say fight through the pain a bit more? He's one of the senior players leading a bunch of kids who are getting a hiding. Won't be starting Saturday anyway. Won't be in line to start again until the Bristol Street Motors unless we get a Centre Half injury. We may have players coming back in soon. Just frustrating to be honest.
If we had to put a centre half in I reckon I'd go Onyango now anyway.

I suppose a slight possibility is that the players were told to be careful with the smallest of knocks as we really can’t afford any more injuries of substance
