He deffo should be in the hall of fame but isn't at the moment Isn't he? Right, who do I contact to rectify this. How can Alun Armstrong not be in our Hall of Fame? He's arguably our best ever player from our best ever side. I also thought he was in the hall of fame, but have since found this online "The initial entrants into the Stockport County Hall of Fame are: Andy Thorpe, Bobby Murray, Mike Flynn, John Rutter, Jim Gannon, Jack Connor, Alf Lythgoe, Kevin Francis, Frank Newton, Brett Angell, Brendan Elwood, Trevor Porteous, Alan Ogley, Sean Connelly, Jim Fryatt & Bill Atkins (combined), Bill Williams, Jimmy Stevenson, Billy Bocking and Joe Butler. In May 2004 three more legends were entered into the Stockport County Hall of Fame - Johnny Price, Danny Bergara and Harry Hardy. In April 2005 three more legends were entered into the Stockport County Hall of Fame - Dave Jones, Tommy Sword and Micky Quinn. In May 2006 four more legends were entered into the Stockport County Hall of Fame - Rodger Wylde, Lee Todd, Len White and Eric Webster." www.stockportcounty.com/team/halloffame.aspx

I'm going to email Ryan now. Not that I'll get a response, but it's happening. I might even start a petition and have a photo of me looking surly with my arms folded in the Express.

Why did it take us 2 years following the formation of the hall of fame to include Danny Bergara? Surely he must've been in the running to be in from the start?

Wasn't it a fan-driven thing too, which makes it even more strange he wasn't in it. I'm surprised David Poole and Keith Briggs aren't in it, they seem to be considered legends in the programme these days.

In recent years I'd say Carl Baker & Liam Bridcutt are worth a mention.

Jim McNulty and Gary Dicker were both cracking players in their time here. Not legendary by any means, but far better than anything we have now.

Gary Dicker was class, he's probably my second favourite County player behind Armstrong.

Consider yourself emailed, Ryan. Do you think COWs is worth reading these days. There's nowt on it! It's about as dynamic as house brick. ........and yes I know that's down to the fact that nobody works there these days except on Saturdays. But it's dull dull dull.
