This looks so wonderfully unnecessary; I love it
(I know it's only CGI for now)

When I saw the video I thought it was those home delivery robots they’re trialling, and they must be coming to Stockport, then it said something about printing and talked about the signs on the stand roofs, still, I’m sure it’s very exciting.

This looks so wonderfully unnecessary; I love it (I know it's only CGI for now) While this is, I’m sure, commercially Very Good News, I haven’t got a f*cking clue what it’s supposed to be. Does little to challenge my theory that corporate bullshit exists to make people sound more intelligent, but actually has the opposite effect.

I think Ancient has it right, it's an exciting new machine to write things on the grass, not sure why it takes a machine to do that, but I'm sure it's progress.

Very big advertising in the close season seems to be the end-game. Fair enough. It’d have been easier just to say that in the first place, mind.

'Drink Beer' 'Eat Pies' or similar for the millions of tourists flocking into Stockport International

I,m sure i,ll sleep better tonight after reading this. Its a type of thing that will have little interest with the majority of us. Similar to a change of stationery supplier years ago would have been.

Well, I enjoyed it, you miserable buggers 😂
I'm always fascinated by the ones painted at the sides of goals, at such distortion that they look like upright ads from the camera position. Presumably something like this will be able to do that.
Well, I'm interested anyway.

Isn’t actually painting things on the grass old hat? Adding advertising virtually, and targeting it is the future, I saw it 5 or 6 years ago at the Le Mans 24, surprised it hasn’t become commonplace already

You mean foreigners weren't being treated to E. Park Potatoes when we played Bolton?
