The electronic boards display different messages to viewers in different countries, that's common with all of them now. You mean foreigners weren't being treated to E. Park Potatoes when we played Bolton? E. Park Potatoes! Don't forget the '!' I assume not. There was an interesting thing about it all I saw on LinkedIn of all places, will try and dig it out.

Not the original post, but it will do. There's something amiss there as it's the same ads in each video but at a different time.

Isn’t actually painting things on the grass old hat? Adding advertising virtually, and targeting it is the future, I saw it 5 or 6 years ago at the Le Mans 24, surprised it hasn’t become commonplace already The electronic boards display different messages to viewers in different countries, that's common with all of them now. Subliminal messages...but you can only see them if you watch the highlights back from the final whistle
Any news on when the Railway End & Pop Side designs might be unveiled ?

My view - class that. Very well made. Just a shame we don't have more home fixtures coming up.

Isn't the ground listed as an ACV?
In that case any planned purchase would have to be made public and then wait for the community to respond before it could be completed. ??

One of my last few worries with the Stott regime this, EP.
I will feel a lot more at ease once I actually see the ground has been bought and plans afoot for this new Pop Side; I am not saying that it was never his intention to fully redevelop EP, but the land behind the RE being gazumped and Stockport Homes building on booth street in addition to if the council will play ball with filling one of the reservoirs in concerns me a bit.
I think without that EP's footprint just seems a tad too small (and no, imo it's not just about parking) for the talk of a 20k seater, though I am no architect!

It could easily be done, there's loads of room behind the popside to add another tier, the Main Stand could run the full length of the pitch and we could build another tier on the Railway End.

And potentially fill in the corners, would be really exciting to see some plans soon, if there even is any if course.

It does beg the question, why build a new ground if you're not increasing the capacity? Arsenal moved from Highbury because they couldn't redevelop Highbury either cost effectively and could not achieve the capacity of the Emirates. I'm sure there are arguments that the running costs of the new stadium may be lower, particularly with the new technologies available and maybe opportunities for additional non match day revenue streams, but I'd hate to see us leave EP just to build a 12,000 seater ground on a trading estate....
