. Said this before numerous times that fans who do not attend should inform the club so they can re sell the seats. Then we might get a full EP for a game and not a sell out but some missing. I'm not sure someone can just release their Ticket? It can be upgraded, but isn't there an issue with double-selling if a Season Ticket seat is then sold again? Not if the ST holder is refunded. Double selling might be against league regs but nobody is actually losing out by any club who did that. Just more bull crap regulations where its the fans and nobody else who miss out.

Some details in the Co-op’s minutes of the meeting with the club. Full plans for Railway End and Main Stand could go to a committee before Christmas, along with outline plans for the Pop Side.

It doesn't sound like a start in January will happen
Was thinking though is that when the roundabout does have work started on it, how will the vehicles that are coming to do the ground development get to the ground? They cant come from the cheadle way because because it's width restricted - or can they still get through?

They cant come from the cheadle way because because it's width restricted - or can they still get through? They do say in the minutes, though, that the RE will be out of commission next year. Admittedly, that doesn't pin down a start date, but it could be early in 2025 (as soon as planning is approved), on the first day of the close season, or on the first day of next season. Who knows? I suspect, based on nothing but reading between the lines, and my usual optimism, that it might start on the first day of the close season, so we don't have to lose any RE this season. In which case, as I think we've said before on here, based on CE timescales*, we might be using it at some point next season. Which is nice. *Complicated by the fact that building a decent stand, rather than throwing up one that the work experience kid designed, might take longer, as it might if the Main Stand extension is an intrinsic part of the overall plan that affects how soon we can get into the RE.

The plan is to extend the Main Stand before starting on the Railway End is it not?

The extra work would be on the design. I am assuming we have got the designs nailed down to get the planning permission to begin the build. So the actual build shouldn’t take any longer.

The plan is to extend the Main Stand before starting on the Railway End is it not? That's what we were told by Steve Bellis on the ground tour earlier this year.

The plan is to extend the Main Stand before starting on the Railway End is it not? Should be possible to get that done during the close season and then you’d think some of the same contractors/kit might stay on site to start on the Railway End.

It won’t get done in close season if they use whoever is doing the ticket office extension, it’s taking forever.

The empty seats is possibly another result of the poor walk up experience, e.g. more are buying Season Tickets who won't attend every game in order to avoid the poor walk up experience for the games they do want to attend. Since we can watch games on the box i rarely go to mid week fixtures anymore especially in winter. The reason i purchased a ST was to avoid our ticketing system or having to sit in the RE for a sell out game where you can easily see many gaps in all stands. Said this before numerous times that fans who do not attend should inform the club so they can re sell the seats. Then we might get a full EP for a game and not a sell out but some missing. Totally agree with this. My missus is disabled and struggles with cold winter nights. We missed Saturday for a family event that was unavoidable. But with no facility to inform the club, our seats were empty (noticed because camera was on my seat when Fraser got booked) Those seats would have been available the second that Wrexham tickets went on sale. Maybe different next year

Maybe different next year guess its something the club don't want to attempt while with future ticketing

With a handy stop at Greggs 😉
