We all go there with that hope timberwolf! but times have changed. County are attracting new clientele who maybe expect a bit more from their matchday experience, It also offers another opportunity for the club to increase matchday revenue & coupled with peoples general increase in interest in all things foodie nowadays (look at the popularity of foodie friday) along with the great number of good local artisans in that field I can only see it being a good thing. Not knocking the idea totally but its just not for me. Be interested what percentage of fans eat or drink in the ground is anyway. Over the years its a subject that regularly gets plenty of discussion, but i,m yet to be convinced its everyones priority at any time. I,m quite prepared to be proven wrong but i do think the majority of fans would agree with me on this even if the rest of those who contibute to this discussion on here do not. But that's the point, offer something different & better quality then the percentage will rise meaning more money in the clubs coffers which can only be a good thing. The food on offer has improved greatly recently especially the pies but the service is definitely still a problem, more to do with the layout of a football concourse with regards to the cheadle end than the actual servers, relieve a bit of pressure in that respect then more people may be tempted to part with a few quid.

Interestingly Runaway Brewery have retweeted the County story about the food court. They’d be a cracking addition for beer! I think they are the ones moving locally down to near The Crown on Heaton Lane. Thirst Class also tweeted about it, another Stockport brewery. Hopefully someone is making notes! Hopefully its also reasonably priced too.

They need to train them in pulling pints which would speed things up, they seem to give your food and then you are supposed to move along for your beer but there was nowhere to move they were pouring so slowly, half a pint of froth, wait pour a bit more, then as they put them down people were just marching in and grabbing them!

Don't understand why they can't pre-pour the pints. It's basic stuff and would make a huge difference. Outdoor gigs with 50,000 people manage to do it so I've no idea why we don't. Common sense.

The figures for food sales at football grounds is massively increasing year on year so the club getting this area in place is great for the club, the fans and the overall match day experience. Look at C*ty, various outlets outside the ground, Spurs is the same as well as having their own brewery in the stadium.
Fans spend plenty outside the ground on food and drink, bringing that into the club and offering something worthy of going to the ground an hour or so before the game is well worth doing.

Is there a new sponsor/Ad going on the Cheadle End roof?
Looked like there were some railing around the roof today which I’ve not notice previously.

I could be wrong, but I think that has been there a while. It may have been put up around the time they added 'The Cheadle End' to the front of the stand, they also installed a roof access ladder and roof hatch at the back of UT2 as well.
