The imtroduction of the growing lights has helped a lot too. The pitch is another example of where the additional money has been spent well, we all know Cashy is a genius but it still costs a huge amount of money to maintain a pitch to that standard, everyone involved should be rightly proud ⚽️💙

They let us into ground to have a look around and to select seats (wife is disabled) It’s looking great, and it’s only early June. Shame that the beer festival has moved

Can we please get that outdated scruffy Scandia sign changed this summer. Not overly arsed but the first thing away fans are when they come in those newish turnstiles.

Can we please get that outdated scruffy Scandia sign changed this summer. Not overly arsed but the first thing away fans are when they come in those newish turnstiles. It’s also visible from the railway and looks dreadful. I’ve made jokes about it being structural but the fact that it is still there are making me wonder if it really has become part of the fabric of the building. If we’re not knocking the stand down any time soon then some sort of signage to be visible from the railway would be high on my priority list.

I thought that with the asbestos but they have covered the roof with the Together advert. Like you say you can see it from the trains. Advertising a defunct lager.

Not a ground or training ground refurbishment but there's apparently a mural being painted today facing the crofter
A chance it's a foden one but it's also a darker blue so it could be a county one

Hopefully it'll be a mural celebrating 140 years. If it's Foden, or City-themed, it's not acceptable in Edgeley & will surely be painted over/defaced.

It better bloody not be a Foden one! Couldn't give a toss if he's an Edgeley lad, Edgeley is County's patch, he's already got a mural in our town hasn't he? If they put something like that on Castle st. we should club together & get an artist to do a mural of all the County players who scored goals in our wins over City as close to the Etihad as possible.

Surely nobody is that naive.
