I know someone who does temporary stands and he’s said it would be so easy to get a roof over there semi-permanently. . A roof above the new scoreboard wouldn't keep much rain out unless it was driving in from behind, it'd be too high

Perhaps they ran out of white seats! But a great improvement all the same.
Personally, I don't see a roof happening till that entire stand gets properly rebuilt: as it is, any roof would need to be at least twice as high as it would have been if there were no scoreboard there.
So I think that's basically it for now at the Railway end.

Not sure how it's been done: it may simply be a question of taking off the plastic parts of the appropriate seats and replacing them with the correct colour, rather than taking the entire seat frame out. (Which may also be how seats that are only slightly damaged get repaired?)
But my point is that I am sure I can see, from looking at that image on my PC screen, that there is still a row of blue seats above the T and Y: they'd just need to change about a dozen more blue seats to white at the top of those 2 letters.
And yes, I've already been to Specsavers! |

Looks a lot better. It wasn’t finished, the white seats had no bottoms. But fair play looks like they did it this morning for the TV.

Any development of that end would probably mean the screen (can we stop calling it a "scoreboard"? Please?) would need moving again, and given how long it took this time, it would seem pointless having done it now if another move was imminent. I suppose there's a chance a second tier/roof could be built around the screen, like Wembley on a much smaller scale. We can dream...  Plus the screen needs to be primarily for home fans to see, so aways in the RE for the time being, I suspect. Just to reiterate the views of loads of people already on here, though - I'd love to see some plans for the future. Even if they're years away. |

Does anyone know if replays are allowed in the EFL? I'm pretty sure they're not in the Premier League.
