Hollywood Park! A short walk in to town, a short walk from the stations and a short walk from Edgeley and right on the edge of the motorway. Looks perfect to me.

i would buy into moving from EP if the new ground was more easier to get to and easier and cheaper to park for those of us who have to travel there by car. i do not know the geography of the town like locals do but i really doubt that could be achieved. edinburgh makes some good points also about extending what we have already and the access into the ground. the real question is how large does EP really need to be and by what percentage our gates will rise. pointless throwing money down the drain building something that may only be full once a season if that. far better having a few sold out signs at EP with near full houses every home game for the atmosphere. it wasn,t great in the old days with 2,000 rattling around in a 3 sided EP in a normal league game.

I couldn’t think of anything worse than moving away from Edgeley Park.
The character, location and all the highs and lows are irreplaceable. Move from EP and a big part of Stockport County will be gone forever.

EP is a massive part of the whole County experience, it wouldn't be the same trekking to some industrial estate.

Could easily get EP to a max attendance that would be more than big enough for our needs without the purchase of anymore land.

The work that has been done so far has obviously been long overdue - I think Simon Wilson described it as ‘cosmetic’ in the last interview with JK - but it certainly looks much better on the screens, and hopefully, the overall spectator experience will be improved as well; plus it has been almost universally well-received. Lots of great ideas on here - many thoughtful and imaginative - but the last Co-op report for me from the meeting with the Club was a real dampener, in particular, with the uncertainty over the land around the Bungalow, Bowling Green, and Railway End which appears to be unresolved. Additionally, with EP being owned by the Council - which was surely always intended as a short-term not long-term move - these two things together ie Stott owning neither EP, nor the land at the Railway End, just how much more can we realistically expect beyond the ‘cosmetic’ in the near future? Can’t see anything happening at the RE anytime soon. Not now they’ve reseated it and that massive screen that took ages to install. Though surely between Stott and the Council in time we can get that land which, despite the new housing further back is plenty big enough for a big expansion. However, the land behind the Pop Side is vast. We could easily have something big and special there and it’s been a long time coming. Sod this talking of moving. No chance at all. Why on earth would anyone want to?

You could name loads of clubs who have moved into new flat-packed stadiums some needed to move some didn't The fact that the land for expansion behind the railway end and the vernon stand has been notoriously difficult to buy and sounds as if it still is ...always puts that doubt in my mind.. the parcel of land behind the vernon stand if used to its potential could provide a stand like the east stand at Northampton but as always others have different and just as valid visions for that stand..the main stand for me has to be upgraded ..ie a new roof, extentions to each side and a up grade to the painted brickwork but the county facade has to stay as the club has stated...let's see what unfolds

Yes there's a signaling centre managing most of the line through to crewe down there.

That's on the other side of the new and improved alley/passage way. Doesn't affect EP at all. I've said it a million times and as you can see here, there's loads of space at the back of the Pop Side and RE once we get the land off whoever is being picky with it. We're not a poor part time club anymore. Now is the time to get the ground further developed properly in line with the Championship in 7 years plan and whilst we have professional people in charge, not to mention with proper plans, ideas and money!

What are the chances of them finding some rare newts if we do apply for developing the pop side?

Someone will. People pissed and objected to the CE being built. And who'd thought back then that a stand that was 5 steps and looked more like a walkway, could be transformed into what it is now.
You could fill in 15% of that reservoir without anyone noticing. No one uses it anyway. The green land is fenced off, overgrown land that no one is ever using.
It's not a beauty spot or anything like that. I walked past it and had a look the other week.
They had plans approved a few years ago for the Pop Side, sadly when we had dickheads in charge, so that shouldn't be an issue either.

With limited space I’d love to see a small two tiered stand at the railway end like they have at Brentford, Southend and Bradford. Then a bigger two tier side with hospitality boxes at the pop side.
Would prefer different size stands/ looks for a bit of character rather than something like Bloomfield Road where everything looks the same at one level.
