When’s the CE outer refurb going to be showcased? I’ve got this lob-on in my pocket patiently waiting.

Ashton’s new bar, I wonder when the Bungalow will be refurbished as the new County Bar Many clubs seem to attract fans into the ground early to drink in their bars/concourse, and despite the hatred towards fcum and Salford then they do this right with local bands playing and local outlets selling their food and drink... County don't really seem to want to tap into this market... maybe we're too cool for this?

I don’t think we’re allowed to because of that daft football league certificate we hold onto.
But why home and away fans can’t get a HT bevvy in the pop side / away end is quite shite tbh. And a missed opportunity for extra £££££ no reason we can’t do cans poured into cups is there?

Saw a comment from the club earlier that beer will be available in all stands with exception of the DB stand this season.

Salford do this exceptionally well with the brands they have on board to do this like my mates at Grandads Sausages, Seven Brothers and more. City have also redeveloped their food offering in certain areas of stadium to feature local brands and new pop ups like Kongs Chicken shop, Grandads Sausages and more so this is what is needed for a full F&B offering these days IMO. The match day experience all starts with where you eat & drink beforehand and these clubs are now seeing the benefit of that and noticing that the fans have money to spend, and will do for quality, but they're spending it outside the stadium/ground because it offers something different so they're bringing that to the ground to improve the overall experience.

How much of a queue do you expect there to be at the back of the pop side for home and especially away fans?

EP is hardly stuck out on a limb where your only real options are parking up and eat and drink inside the ground.

The queues at half time are ridiculous and make me glad I don’t tend to eat or drink in football grounds. It wasn’t so much the number of people (although when the kids are in that definitely has an impact) but the number of staff on duty not being able to cope with demand. Hopefully this will be improved with catering having been brought in house.

I posted it in the County rumours thread, but it also felt relevant here; those new seats 😍

No it isn't but a big option that should be explored is getting more people in to the ground earlier to eat, drink and socialise there. It's a huge part of the overall match day and, like I say, it is something a lot of other clubs are starting to realise is the way forward. Spurs have their own brewery, United are doing £3 beers, City & Salford hosting local businesses as pop-ups to help create a more memorable experience for the day.

Also staying afterwards too, I think it’s great when clubs open up the concourses again and let fans mingle and have a chat. Underneath the CE is a great area to host something like that. Not a hard choice between sitting in traffic or grabbing a beer.

Remember when the players used to go into the Supporters Club under the CE after games to meet fans and then go through to the players lounge? That should be a big thing to bring back as we grow and attract more fans, especially younger fans!

Not only has the F been moved one seat to the (stage) right, it's also been widened by one seat. Previously( 1, 2) 7 seats from the left, 9 seats wide & 10 from the right, it's now ( 1) 8 from the left, 10 seats wide and 8 from the right. (saddo & proud of it)
