Never watched it, going to have to now. What platform is it available on? Sky have it on boxsets every few months, possibly Now TV?

Just finishing watching Lilyhammer.
It might be a few years old but it's definitely worth watching.

In May 1971 (49 years ago) JW gave an interview with Playboy Magazine regarding the Vietnam War where he gave his support for this. Other phrases were used in this interview which later resurfaced in March 2019. Ethan, JW's son, said "It would be an injustice to judge someone based on an interview that's being used out of context." Wayne died 11 June 1979 - yes 41 years ago. My comment in the thread above "gone too far" was in general a comment about the status of World affairs, more so in the UK,for example BOJO saying today that there will be no Austerity for the next 10 years. Is that a statement "gone too far" considering his and the Tory Party's record over these past years? Johnson made a number of 'gone too far' statements with regards to different groups of people before he became PM. A lot of people don't seem too arsed. What he says in other regards you should assume is a lie, until and unless facts prove otherwise. He is a proven and repetitive liar, being overseen by a man happy to lie to the nation. Although a lot of people don't seem too arsed about any of that either. I'm definitely against naming an airport after Boris Johnson

He's more of a car crash kind of guy.

A sign by the Thames pointing out The Boris Johnson Bridge would be a fitting tribute to the great man

Have I (or has anyone) mentioned "The Righteous Gemstones" previously? After a slightly slow, scene-setting episode or two (although still with some excellent jokes) it gets up a head of hilarious steam and dark humour.
And while we're in the sphere of Danny McBride and Walton Goggins, I liked "Vice Principals" quite a lot.

Just finished 'The Boys' on Amazon Prime - its a Superheroes series but it seemingly isn't a part of either the DC or Marvel Universe It's quite dark but really good and not your usual superhero story line. Big fan!! Highly recommend

Best telly ever! Everything else is a distant second. Everything about it is perfect. Agreed it'll take some beating, I couldn't believe my luck when I bumped into Steve Schirripa who plays Bobby Bacala wondering round a Christmas market in New York a few years ago when the Sopranos was just coming to an end. I'm rarely starstruck but I had to ask for a picture with him, as he appears on screen he's a unit of a bloke but an absolute gent. The episode when he and his wife go for a break with Tony and his, and they end up fighting, is just genius. But for TV which is hard to match, the one where Paulie and Christopher go into the forest to kill the Russian mobster - genius. Tony Soprano : [over the phone] It's a bad connection, so I'm gonna talk fast! The guy you're looking for is an ex-commando! He killed sixteen Chechen rebels single-handed!
Paulie 'Walnuts' Gualtieri : Get the f*ck outta here.
Tony Soprano : Yeah. Nice, huh? He was with the Interior Ministry. Guy's some kind of Russian green beret. This guy can not come back to tell this story. You understand?
Paulie 'Walnuts' Gualtieri : I hear you.
[the telephone connection is lost - Tony swears, and Paulie hangs up]
Paulie 'Walnuts' Gualtieri : [turning to Christopher] You're not gonna believe this. He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. The guy was an interior decorator.
Christopher Moltisanti : His house looked like shit.

for me most stuff is enjoyable watching it around again. only problem is comedy series when you know and remember the punch lines well before they come up. over the multiple views you have of em they become less and less funny. pheonix nights and only fools and horses are the top of that list.

I randomly watched the weekend away at the lodge episode only recently, those two scrapping is not something you'd want to get in the middle of. The suspense Bobby thinking he was getting whacked on their shooting and fishing jaunts was great. I really do need to start it all over again. If anybody has travelled by road from Newark airport into NYC it's great spotting all the places from the opening credits.

Watching All series of the Sopranos- again! So good compared with some of the other dross shown on tv. You only realise how good some actors are when you see another series with bad acting in. Best telly ever! Everything else is a distant second. Everything about it is perfect. 4 episodes in and it is certainly holding my interest.
