Merseyside Detectives on C4. About the investigation into the 9 year old girl shooting and young woman shot in her back garden couple of years ago. Little bit similar to GMP series on BBC few years back.

Quite enjoying that Baby Reindeer. Binge watching it right now. Loses it's way slightly by about episode 4. But I've a feeling it will come back around.

Black Bird on Apple TV was a good Watch, and based on a true story.
Dennis Lehane's penchant for authentic grit is on full display in Blackbird, an absorbing prison drama distinguished by its moral complexity and elevated by an outstanding ensemble.

I enjoyed it too but couldn't help feeling the main character didn't really help himself in a certain situation. Good performances though from the two lead actors.

Except Thumper is a roofie-plying date rapist, and Flower is a femcel who also won’t take no for an answer but in a different way.

The missus & I watched all 6 episodes of Daddy issues on iplayer last night. Not exactly laugh out loud funny & a bit of a crap ending (but possibly leads into a 2nd series?) Some amusing moments but I probably only sat through each 25 minute episode because it was filmed in Stockport, mostly using the market place & underbank.

Just caught up on 3 seasons of 'Only Murders in the Building'. Decent light hearted comedy staring and co-written by Steve Martin. First season was good but 2 & 3 were very funny. Season 4 just started this week.

The Freddie Flintoff programme with the young lads cricket team I now into series 2 is still very good. Credit to him for filming it given what he went through.

I could put this in the travel experiences thread but it's probably better in here. It's a tad self indulgent because I've been here so forgive me for it. On tonight's episode of Celeb Race Across the World, they have to get from Sao Paulo, Brazil to Tigre, Argentina. They either have to cross Uruguay and the River Plate or cross directly from Brazil into Argentina. The quickest way to do the latter is to cross at Foz de Iguacu, Brazil into Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. This route takes them via the Iguazu Falls on the border between the two countries. If there's a more naturally stunningly beautiful place on this Planet of ours, I want to see it. Anyone else on here been to Iguazu can back me up how spectacular the falls are? Watch and you'll see for yourselves. Highly recommended watching even if you don't like the series.

As someone who's hitch hiked and jibbed across Europe sleeping on train stations and ferry ports I watched the first series and thought I could do well at this so I applied for the second series, they got in touch and asked me to send a video. Only then did I run it past my wife, she's backpacked around southern Asia, camped at Everest base camp and travelled peasant class across India, the programme makers said we were perfect for it but she just wasn't having it, I tried every bribe I could afford but she wasn't budging and I've not watched the show since, I'd be constantly saying that should have been us. Edit: I've just noticed you said the "celeb" version, that's not what I applied for.
