The Harold Shipman programme has been good viewing this week for a bit of local history. Think its the last one tonight, but its all on the BBC Iplayer. problem with anything about shipman and the moors murderers is that its all been done before and we do not learn anything really new.

Not sure if it’s been recommended already, but Scarborough on BBC is very good. Apparently it’s due to disappear forever shortly too, so watch it whilst you can!

Pretty sure they kept the front of one of the shops on underbank as a bit of a tourist attraction.(may have been a hairdressers in the series)

Good spot as I hadn’t noticed, but so obvious now!

Not TV as such, but this YouTube documentary is an incredibly powerful and moving watch.

I don't watch much telly other than Cops v Scrotes "realities" and sport but I'd recommend "Brassic" on Sky or You Tube. Comedy set around Rochdale, it's got Michelle Keegan in it, S1 is very good, S2 is absolutely cracking. I watch stuff like that in a morning when my other half is having a lie-in and I woke her up LOL-ing at S2 Ep2 the other day. Funnier than Fylde getting demoted. Brassic is the funniest programme I’ve seen in years. Joe Gilgun is a fantastic actor. I almost died laughing at S2 E2 as you rightly point out! A must watch.

I have just watched 'The haunting of Bly Manor' on Netflix. If you like terrible fake British accents, Scenes which just repeat themselves as flashbacks over and over ad nauseam, a policeman in a uniform that looks like something you buy in a joke shop with the accent of Lord Mountbatten then this is for you. 8.25 hours of drivel. The IMDB reviews are poles apart- it seems some like the lesbian love story in it. The guy plating the weird uncle was the little boy who befriended E.T.
