I didn't correct it when I had posted as I didn't see anything funny- you got me there Paul. Does plating mean something I do not know??

just wondered why there are so many flashbacks nowadays. then you have a date and time clock uuat the start of some action. if you miss this or not concentrating you lose whatever plot there is. TV and cinema are about relaxation and not something to study and keep your mind on as if you were having an exam or test on the subject in the near future. do not get me going about the background noise which is hardly music but more akin to an orchestra warm up. this at times blots out actors who seem unable to talk in nothing more than a whisper.

Rewatching Succession at the moment, thatβs phenomenal telly. Only thing Iβve ever seen that has the potential to rival The Sopranos. It wonβt be as good, obviously, but itβs outstandingly good so far.
Euphoria too. Very different but the best looking/sounding thing Iβve ever seen. Worth watching twice to catch everything.

Currently watching βThe Vowβ which is a 9 part series on the NXIVM cult. On HBO here but believe itβs on Sky in the UK. Absolutely mind blowing.

Anyone been watching Industry? It's an HBO series that BBC have picked up. Grads working in a big bank in the City. Great blend of b*stardry, hedonism, back stabbing and everything else you do as a 20-something power hungry nobhead. It's very, very good from what I've seen so far.

About 5 episodes into Ozark and itβs looking promising. Love Fear the Walking Dead on Prime. One of my all time faves is Sons of Anarchy which is very violent but so so good.

Since March we've watched The Wire, Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Bosch, Ray Donovan, Last Kingdom, Vikings, and Ozark amongst others. I'd happily watch all 9 again.
Currently watching The Man in the High Castle, Lost and The Alienist with Lillyhammer, Queen of the South, Sneaky Pete and Billions in the pipeline.

I watched the Queen's Gambit on Netflix and it was very enjoyable. It's all about a young girl chess prodigy which doesn't sound the best, but every episode was good.

Watching the Maradona in Mexico documentary on netflix. A better watch than i expected, although quite sad to see the man practically unable to walk with his dodgy knees, & obviously sadder with his recent passing.

We've enjoyed Cardinal on iplayer of late. Canadian detective drama, not too shabby. Good characters and story line.
Cold though.
