For me, the National League and the north and south should be classed the same. There’s part time teams in our league and full time ones below. According to some non league anorak on Twitter, the government definition of elite is “an individual who derives a living from competing in a sport”.

As opposed to the Daily Mail definition of elite, which is someone who voted Remain.

Most clubs at North and South level are only semi-professional. All clubs at National League (i.e. tier 5) level have to offer professional contracts. As far as I’m aware, sixth tier clubs don’t. The line has to be drawn somewhere.

Reading in a couple of places that Borehamwood may be refusing to take part in play offs as cost of testing could be up to £100k per club

Not bothered doing the maths as I won’t lose too much sleep over it but someone on Twitter said that Kings Lynn beat York to top spot by 0.06 points. I’d find that a hard pill to swallow if it was us missing out by that margin.
The top two of North & South being promoted would have been a much fairer option. This would then reward two teams in the league below rather than wrongly rewarding 3 teams in our division.
The way the National League have dealt with this from start to a potential near finish has been a joke. Completely amateur.

Tasty thread this from the manager of Havant and Waterlooville. Throwing Fylde’s name into a conspiracy. Love it.

Alty Chairman has his say. Testing was going to cost 50k apparently. Think someone on here said 100k.
