Really? Not in my world. Someone offers you a decent contract and you're weighing that up against the possibility of someone coming in at another employer who may or may not offer you anything? You'd be a fool to gamble, frankly. That assumes that was even a possibility at the time anyway.

Not for me . He must of knew mark stott was coming in and still chose to go elsewhere I don't agree with that. The deal wasn't done yet, we were still very much a part time club with owners who didn't aspire for anything more than that. He had to take the best deal available to him, bot the best deal that might potentially become available if a takeover goes through. Think back to all of the delays and uncertainty, how long it all took. There were no guarantees so he did what anyone in their right mind would have done.
