She can have a week off and come back after the Bank Holiday as Chancellor. She must have something on some very senior people. I don’t think it’s that.

I think the Sunday Fail may be barking up the wrong tree with this story about Suella’s speeding ticket - it’s not like breaking the Ministerial Code has kept her out of a job for long in the past… All this fuss for a speeding ticket when she has other problems to concentrate on. She is in very good company including an archbishop.

Cruella Batshitman was Attorney General, she knows full well she cannot have fast tracked/personalised access to Justice and/or the Civil Service she just doesn’t believe the rules extend to her (just like Bojo the Clown) and she is wholly unfit to be in Government
The bigger issue for me is that Rushi Baktrak has already once re-employed her after breaking the Ministerial Code - he did this whilst informing the electorate (who never voted for him) that he would “put integrity, professionalism and accountability at the heart of his government”
Breaking International Law, Tax Dodging Party Chairmam, Bullying Deputy Prime Minister, Sex Offender in the Whip’s Office, Legal Protest all but ended, voter gerrymandering…
This country in now a banana republic

It isn't the speeding ticket itself that's the issue, it's trying to get civil servants to organise what is a private personal matter for her that is the problem.

It isn't the speeding ticket itself that's the issue, it's trying to get civil servants to organise what is a private personal matter for her that is the problem. And also her team repeatedly denying she'd committed the speeding offence anyway. Possibly the thickest person ever to be AG. "I know, what I'll do in response to this something and nothing speeding fine that will barely register, given the absolute clusterf*ck that we've turned this country into, is to lie about it happening and then try to get civil servants to help me swerve normal due process. That's sure to make it disappear without further comment or, yet again, bring into question my ability and suitability to hold a key position in government."

Boris Johnson referred to police over potential Covid rule breaches www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-65690243‘A spokesman for Mr Johnson said: "Some abbreviated entries in Mr Johnson's official diary were queried by Cabinet Office during preparation for the Covid inquiry.’ Presumably OFFICE PARTY actually stands for “ office protective gear at the ready to give out to everybod y?

Far more important than all this is the future when you hear starmer is thinking about increasing those ULEZ type schemes across the country by putting it in next years election manifesto. A real vote loser if there was one and needs to beware of putting the tories back in power yet again. Can hear words on the doorstep now with people saying that they hate the tories and would love to vote labour but----. Put your own reasons there.

The woke blob of, er, a Conservative government and the police out to get him again. Still, his 'allies' say he didn't do it and that he followed the rules at all times, so I think we can close the book on this one now.

Do not know many that did and twisted them to suit including a couple of NHS nurses i know.

And as sure as eggs is eggs, the invertebrate who said he’d clean up government sees nothing wrong with what Suella B did because she took her punishment in the end. The fact that the Secretary of State responsible for law and order tried to cover up the fact she’d committed an offence before realising that wasn’t an option is apparently neither here nor there…

I followed the rules timbers and so did most people I know, I've got two sisters who are nurses at Stepping Hill and they definitely stuck to the rules.
