Just seen an advert at the bottom of the page for the Conservative Party, they’ve wasted their money there

Home now. As I was walking out through the bit where they bring people in from ambulances there were probably 10-12 poor sods on trolleys in the corridor, some in obvious distress. Some lad was sat cross legged on a trolley eating a plate of gruel they’d served him. Would rather go hungry. Anyway got to go back tomorrow for an MRI, exciting times. Update on this. Came back to hospital not long after this post, which is where I remain. They did a CT scan on Tuesday afternoon which spotted something unusual on my brain. But said I was fine to go home, but to come back if my symptoms got worse, which they were doing as I was told that. Turns out I had/have meningitis. Great scenes. My head was pulsing/rushing like I’d never felt since Saturday and I was getting more unstable on my feet, couldn’t really get my words out. First concern was a stroke, thankfully not that. Viral meningitis rather than bacterial, thankfully. But it’s absolutely wiped me out. Still nowhere near right now. Takes all my energy just to sit up. Still can’t really stand properly, more weakness rather than unsteadiness now, but still having the occasional head rush (whereas previously they were constant, and had been since the weekend). Not had the MRI yet but going today or tomorrow to rule out anything properly sinister, but the doctor does reckon there’s been a small bleed on the brain too. Dont think that’s particularly worrying, just sounds a lot worse than it is, depending on the extent of it. #prayforsue Best of luck with it all, hope you get good news and County win to keep your spirits up.

Labour's membership has plummeted by a third since its high point under Corbyn, but they insist they're still in a strong financial position. link

I loved Jeremy Corbyn’s vision of a fairer more equal society with rewarding caring for each other as the high status of communities rather than high bank balances Unfortunately he is a terrible salesman and an even worse manager Being one of the 50,000 loyal Newcastle fans vocally turning up every game is very worthy… but they enter competitions to win the prizes, something they have spectacularly failed to do I’m with you Vic Give me a pragmatic elected Labour government over an idealistic opposition any time

Little Willy Wragg has been involved in this WhatsApp sexting honey trap business that the police are looking into according to The Times As much as I’m happy to see the demise of a Tory MP I hate honey traps Men are led by their bellends, always have been, always will be.
