The 'none of the City games shown on our social media yet' thing had passed me by, I have to admit. But I'm glad to know about it now and have it as one more little thing to get slightly worked up about...as part of a whole armoury of tiny concerns I'm building up as a strategic self defence to stop me thinking about..you, know, the one big concern.

Mozzer has put where I’m at into words already. The signs since Stott’s takeover have been good, on the whole. There are a couple of things that are slightly 👀, so to speak, but it’s too early to make any firm judgements for me. The badge thing they got wrong, I think, but I suspect it’s just part of modern football and the way clubs do things. I can look past it. Start changing colours or faffing about with stadium names and I’d start to take an issue. The fact that he’s a Tory... who cares? Nearly half the population voted Tory not six months ago. I don’t subscribe to that political view, but in the not too distant past we had a Labour chairman who was utterly dreadful. We should be discerning and keep a sense of realism about us. If we do we’ll be fine. While I do agree with your overall points it’s important to note that not nearly half the population voted tory last year. Nearly half (43%) of people who voted did. I may seem like I’ve splitting hairs but since the amount of people who voted Tory was just short of 14million, and total number of registered non voters (so were ignoring unregistered adults of voting age) was less than 200k short of 17million. A third of registered voters didn’t vote. We need better voter engagement in this country. According to an article on the 2017 election (I haven’t found an equivalent one on 2019 but considering turnout was higher in 2017 I think an equivalency can be drawn) non voters outnumbered winning MPs majorities in 551 of 650 seats. And those are just registered non voters. I don’t know what the solution is but I do think it’s a shame more people aren’t engaged.

Am I the only one who thinks the thread title sounds like a 3rd rate Jazz-rock band from the 70's.

He's deleted his account now; how very odd. Very strange. Going off his email account I thought he could be connected with Sale Sharks at first (same name as someone there) but he seemed to have a different angle. Couldn’t find anyone with the name connected to Select, so probably just another in a long line of internet weirdos.

Coming to a yellow board near you soon...

Well, that was a short but eventful career, I wonder what it was all about? It's probably linked to George Oghani somehow.

Well this was a strange thread to read, very much read like someone with an agenda. it certainly was. think there are more than him who just cannot wait to find out some shit on our owner especially with his interest in city and the tory party. until something really serious does come up about him or his business then he will be fully backed by me. i cannot imagine there are many british owners of clubs who are not tories and have had previous supporting interests of another club before their present club. wish i could say that i have not done anything i,m not proud of doing and i was a County fan in the womb.
