Will be watching the two early games, and part of the late Sunday one until I get too tired.
Expect the two I’ll actually be watching to be comfortable wins for the Packers and Chiefs, but suspect Cleveland will keep it from being a blowout.
Really can’t pick the Ravens / Bills game, which I expect will be the best of the weekend, and the one I definitely won’t watch.
Think the Bucs have been flat track bullies, and the Saints will find the last one easier than the bookies expect...

Stefon Diggs won me $900 in my fantasy final so I’m a Bills fan during these play offs!

I like the Bills, notwithstanding the fact that they knocked my Colts out (and frustratingly the Colts could and should have won that). So I'd be happy to ride them to the Super Bowl. But it would also be fun if the usually hopeless Browns could get there. Congrats on the 900 bucks!

I think the Packers and Chiefs will have it but I'd love the Browns to spring a surprise. I don't think their D is up to it, though. Buccaneers have been inconsistent. I'd never count out a team with Brady on one of his days but the Saints have looked good. Bills over the Ravens, especially if it snows : )

I didn't think it was bollocks in July. It's looking even less like bollocks right now, I'd say. Not that this tactic will succeed necessarily but he is certainly encouraging his goons in that direction. It will get very ugly and probably violent both at the polls and afterwards, whatever the result. And the GOP remains disgracefully complicit. I look forward to him condemning the terrorists who have just been arrested for plotting to kidnap, try and execute the Governor of Michigan. Given that several of them were those that responded to his "LIBERATE MICHIGAN!" plea by invading the State House with weapons in April, I think we'll have a long wait. I take no pleasure in having been somewhat correct with this assessment. So far the attempted coup - and that's what it was at the Capitol - has failed but I have no doubt there will be further trouble before and during inauguration, and Trumpism will not go away easily afterwards either. What we saw in D.C. was a re-run of the Michigan State Capitol invasion - which demonstrated how easy it could be for armed white guys to get in and disrupt. Imagine the response in both instances if they had not been majority white and male, and armed. In fact, we don't need to imagine when we saw the reaction merely to peaceful protestors in Lafayette Square, D.C., last summer. Anyway, all that aside and more importantly, does anyone harbour an interest in the NFL? Who do you think for the playoffs this weekend, and the Super Bowl? Coup d’etwát

@maximus ... are you watching these Dodgers-Padres games? Some incredible stuff and four very close games. And another 15 to come!

Extremely irritated by local sports teams TV blackouts. Doesn’t matter how many times someone explains it to me it still doesn’t make sense. Trying to hook it up through a VPN today or free trial of MLBtv if I have to. Will watch tonight one way or another!

I don't have that problem until Padres play the Cardinals, Cubs and Reds. I watch on mlbtv, and I think that those are blacked out as "local" games for me - so check that before you sign up. Conversely, the local TV here might show e.g. Padres @ Cubs or Reds. I hope you caught replays of Mookie Betts' game-winning catch at least in the last series; and a remarkable DP last night (even if it was for the Padres).

The VPN allows me to watch on my phone and tablet, just trying to hook it up to the TV as I recently redid my back patio and it’s a sport watching dream. Looking forward to getting back to some in person action. Tickets are expensive at the moment as limited capacity. Hopefully back in full force by summer.

I hope to get to some minor league games downtown when (if?) things improve more (and football come to that); and might consider a drive to Cincinnati later in the year to catch some major league action (don't want to travel much farther than that). Or if I travel to work HQ in Minneapolis maybe take the opportunity to see the Twins.

Sneaking in a Texas Rangers game a couple of hours earlier as it’s right next door. Fully jabbed up now so ready to rock!

It was the Johnson & Johnson, and the very next day the news broke that it might have rare blood clot issues. Spiffing. I’m not too worried, though; and I got it at a mass drive-though inoculation at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, driving through the garages and stuff; so that was pretty cool.

I see they're capping attendance at the Indy 500 to 40% of the seats, no-one on the infield, so only the 135,000 allowed in this year

Better than last year, of course, when there had to be zero, but far from the usual 300 to 350,000. A shame about the infield but if ever there were a spreader event it would be in the insanity of the Snake Pit.
