As bad as Chesterfield were I thought Butterfield was very good as he was in the previous game.

Just watched the highlights... the appeal for offside on Reid's goal is absolutely tremendous.

I’m not sharing it on here but I’m sure you can find it. County ones will be up tonight or tomorrow. The appeal is hilarious. Clearly on and they seem so affronted 😂

Neither of those were penalties, but it's about time we got some luck with refs awarding pens.

Thought at the time last night and again from those highlights that Bennett was a bit loose with his arm on that high ball forward almost immediately after kick off.

I think it’s much simpler than that. this season, we are spending more time on the front foot / in and around the penalty box. That naturally leads to more penalties and we’re just seeing the effects.

The header and the stumble 😉 You can definitely see why the referee gave the penalty. With the benefit of slow motion on the replay, you can see it doesn’t touch Denton’s arm but the head of the player just in front - but at full speed it certainly looks like it hits Denton’s elbow, and I’ve no idea why he’s got his arm up in that way. It’s as if he’s trying to shield his face from the ball or something, his elbow literally comes up and outwards. I watched the incident on the highlights about eight times and still couldn't work out why the ref gave the penalty! I'm not complaining, obviously. 8.5.2

That's my feeling as well; we're getting more bodies in the box and looking a good bit more threatening so there's more chance of a dodgy tackle.
