Reflection from the morning after, I think 0-0 is a fair result although we probably had the best chances Solihull were in the ascendancy in the last 20mins. We can argue we were without a few regular starters but I think so were Solihull. With 4 losses in the past 5, we really should be looking to bag a few against Weymouth. Whilst they may have been in the ascendancy, other than that ridiculous breakaway which Sam managed to thwart I don't remember them having anything even closely resembling a chance. Which given ever game this season was a massive improvement for my nervous state...

Which given ever game this season was a massive improvement for my nervous state... That's fair, I wouldn't say we were holding out because we wanted to defend though, I think it was more tiredness. Even their old man CB made a surging run into our box relatively unchecked. At least after the game on Sat, we have 10 days to rest and go again I've seen it pointed that Solihull will be up thereabouts, so relatively happy with the point and clean sheet. Were we that tad more clinical, could've been banging on about how good a win that was though.

Anyway... I think we need another forward in. Jennings may come good, he may not. Is there a reason why he left Tranmere? Bell doesn't appear to be pushing for a start or even looking like getting on. Bennett and Reid also looked knackered by 70 mins. So we could do with another option up there IMHO. Agreed. I’d like to see a little pest of a striker with an eye for goal. Lots to like about Bennett and Reid as long as goals can come from elsewhere. C Jennings not cutting the mustard for me so far. When it was first mooted that we were signing a player from Port Vale (Richie Bennett) I thought that it may have been Mark Cullen who had been class first time round. He has the touch and pace that makes him an ideal outlet to get us up the pitch and force the opposition into keeping more than one man back to cover him. I was hoping that we could have thrown a spanner in the works and put MSH up top. Given them something different to worry about.

Really don't understand why people are that bothered by Fitzy being there. Is it a 1000% fair that he's there whilst everyone else isn't? No, it probably isn't.
But to begrudge one solitary individual for being there is more than a bit mean spirited to me.
Edit: nothing is fair about this pandemic, and we all need be patient with each other. Let the man enjoy himself. I'm happy at least one of us in there.

Fair enough.
I genuinely don't care if they let in a few people. Even if the links to club officialdom are a bit vague.
As long as it's legal who cares? I want as many people as possible to be able to attend.

Don’t really care that he was there but if he’s there as a club official don’t have him under the cameras/ mics shouting throughout the game - that’s not professional for a club official and certainly not in the current climate with fans locked out.

It was almost like it was being rubbed in and done deliberately 😐

He speaks well. I wonder who would have been dropped to accommodate him if Maynard and Palmer were fit?

On Palmer, I wonder if we’re paying for private testing like Notts and other clubs have been doing?

Lol, you try shouting Fitzy up and see how far you get!
