They're both amenable types though, and I'm sure that neither would baulk at the suggestion of an eighteen-foot-high painting of Super Kevin Francis on their gable end as long as it was tastefully accomplished. all this is fine if you are at best neutral to County. imagine living in south manchester and having to live with a city or united murial on your gable end you see every day. You're in Manchester what do you expect. If it was Stockport or Bolton you'd have reason to object. I don't object to city or United imagery advertising around Manchester, I do in Stockport.

What about the side of the house on Mercian Way next to the crossing... Look on google maps with the little yellow man!! :-) No windows.
Id personally have Jim, Big Kev, Andy Thorpe. Alan Ogley, Len White and maybe Harry Hardy. Represents the club over the last 70 + years

With a bit of luck we can be in and out of there and have the job done before the inhabitants are any the wiser. Who's ordering the Royal Blue paint? And a pair of ladders. We're definitely going to need ladders.

I don't know why I said 'a pair of ladders'. I was thinking of scissors. Maybe a pair of them and all, just to be on the safe side.

I think they’re ace. Actually like the smaller ones just as much - Best and Totti. But that gable end would be brilliant. We’d raise the money in no time.

How come Stockport boot boys painted on a wall was never considered art.

Apparently a County Mural is going up at the end of Castle street where the "Stockport County We're back" sign is. Hope its decent!

I agree. If done right, it would look quality and County is such a big part of the Stockport community. On the side of the building before the Armoury on Shaw Heath Road (where the billboard is now) would be perfect and visible from cars heading to the roundabout. Picking a moment or individual(s) would be difficult though! This would be perfect!

Does the location face the wasteland though? Might challenge some people’s artistic sensibilities, but a mirror image of that one of TD would work on the gable end of the Castle Street cafe.
