I'm not a big gamer but I had a c64 and also international football... was there an international basketball game too? Or am I reinventing my childhood? I didn't have it but I'm sure there was... got a spare 64 if anyone wants to relive their youth. I used to dream of having a c64 when I was an owner a spectrum 48k with rubber keys! Many happy memories of games going back to pong, the old atari with the wooden fascia, Zx spectrums through to the current consoles, although I've stopped at the ps4 as I can't justify the cost of current gen consoles (have to wait for significant price drops or the wife would kill me, even the ps4 was bought under the pretence of it being for my daughter.....yeah right! ) Although my memories of the games of yesteryear are happy ones I can't say I'm a big retro games fan in terms of playing them again. I've revisited a fair few that used to captivate me at the time but I soon realised that 99% of the time they're best left in the past as memories

That is still one hell of a game. Abe’s Exoddus as well

They also did Abe's Exoddus too, called Oddworld: Soulstorm Yeh I'm gonna get round to playing both but tbh having watched some gameplay on YouTube it just comes across like they completely failed to capture the broodiness of Oddysee, and I love games with that kind of atmosphere (currently working my way through Hollow Knight, and I absolutely LOVE Dark Souls)

Cities Skylines is the best city builder you can get these days. Although CS2 is still very much having teething problems it’s also showing a lot of promise as a worthy successor.

There’s quite a few YouTubers who have spent many more hours in CS than I expect they care to think about 😂 It is a real time sink. I’ve lost days of my life at times.

Theo Town is another decent option for a city builder if you're more an ipad/android than Steam person

I bought it for the ps4 ages ago but haven't got round to playing it, I prefer playing those kind of games on p.c. rather than console so not sure why i purchased it on the ps4!, sort of games I can tinker around with in the corner of the lounge whilst the wife is watching crap tv You played the console or p.c. version?

I play on PC. Originally played it on my MacBook but that’s so old now that it struggles to run it. I did try the console version of it at one point and it wasn’t a bad port as these things go, but it’s definitely better with mouse and keyboard on PC.
