Yes it has. Saw it on Twitter. Not enough visitors despite the Stockport is booming claim or something. Think he’s on here but can’t remember his moniker right now. That was really the only later licence in the town centre. Not great news

Very sad to hear it - Andy is a good lad and big County fan. Am sure he will bounce back.
Think habits are changing and the young uns aren’t as much up for late drinking as generations gone by - not as much up for drinking full stop as a whole but that is probably a good thing.

Late drinking? He was open till 4am...but by all accounts didn't even have a licence to stay open that long. Kicked off all the time at the bar, half of them on drugs, walking round the market 5/6am barfing up everywhere causing a nuisance to people who live in the neighbouring flats.

I STILL have a 4:30 licence on the premises so that bollocks can f*ck off. Kicking off? Happens anywhere. Drugs? Doubtful we searched everyone on entry. After they left my venue that’s not my issue if they spew somewhere else then that’s the councils job. Just a few clear facts there for you 1975. Any other spurious comments you wanna throw at me?

Just read that the new Marple leisure centre is being built with £20 million from the levelling up fund, let's face it if anywhere needs levelling up it's Marple not Adswood or Brinny.

You got that Tory propaganda leaflet too? The one that said about them bringing inflation down (remind me why it went up?) and being able “to afford to” put up the National Living Wage, as if that isn’t just a number the Treasury imposes on employers…

Freezing personal allowances and then giving a bit of it back certainly doesn't feel like a pay rise.

To be fair, whilst the people that live there are more affluent than many places in the borough the town centre itself is looking very tired and dated.
