Yeah, maybe…? Not that close to the footbridge, though - unless a particular vindictive cabbie saw you coming! Came out of there stinking of perfume once, when I was married. Got away with it though. 😆 ‘when I was married’ ‘was married’ ‘was’ Are you sure you got away with it??!

The former pub called Hesketh tavern is to reopen in Cheadle hulme and it will be owned by Heineken (assume it will have a different name)

Anyone else on Underbank last night? Not sure what it was all about, but it was rocking. Great to see Stockport buzzing with so many young people about enjoying themselves.. helped by the lovely weather too.

Was initially being sold to Pesto (Italian restaurant chain) but seems one party had a change of mind.

Apparently Spin have a DJ once a month, it's a street event like Foodie Friday, a young person told me.

Pics certainly looked impressive, though not my cup tea tbh. Didn’t the plod close it down about 9pm or something, typical?

There was little if any food available with the concentration being on drinking. And there was more of a dj and party, stay there for the whole evening vibe about it. That's certainly the way it sounded from just up the road, with noticeably more noise, music, people, etc... late into the evening and night than on a Foodie Friday, So similar but not the same.
