Gannon got sacked after a win, winning a game at home doesn’t change what’s happened. Need to make a change and be ruthless It wasn't right to sack Gannon and it wouldn't be right to sack Rusk after a win (IMHO).

Rusk went straight down the tunnel after the game. Very strange JK said he went over to the Cheadle End JK talks tosh

JK said he went over to the Cheadle End JK talks tosh Rusk didn't necessarily go over, but he definitely acknowledged the Cheadle End as well as the other stands.

Inclined to agree even though I think he’s been utter bobbins with what he has. Win the next game, which we should be and lets see.

At the time I thought he might have lapped it up a bit more, but thinking about it now, then fair enough for not milking it like a big cup upset or a memorable result... it's our job to lap it up and the manager and players job to just enjoy it and prepare for next week. I was thinking when didn't see him long after the whistle: 1) he didn't want to let it look too much of a big result for him (even though it obviously was), 2) let the players take the adulation / credit Give over! Lap it up??!!?! We’ve spent fortunes and beaten a team (at home) who have also spent fortunes!! No lapping it up for me! He got lucky getting a win with yet another drab performance! Lets not forget, we beat Wrexham away 2-1 under Gannon when we were a part time team fresh out of conference north, when Wrexham had finished in playoffs the year before! That was worth lapping up- but this result today, no chance. About bloody time we won a match at home, he’s still not the right man for me and unfortunately looks like we will have to watch his garbage for longer still

This. It was a welcome win over rivals. But we’re still way, way off.

And they wanted to sack Gannon, I assume they don't want to sack Rusk, so doubt the same logic applies.

Rusk went straight down the tunnel after the game. Very strange On the commentary, JK said he went over to Cheadle End? If he did or didn,t does it matter. His job was to get into the dressing room to congatulate every single player on that second half performance. A performance that hopefully changes our approach to games and our season. He is who he is not a JG wave alike. He actually has as much pressure on him now than he had at 3pm yesterday to make sure the team performs as they did yesterday in forthcoming games.

I guess a lot of it will depend on whether Wilson has already lined up a replacement. If he has, then Rusk is still toast. If they have t , then SR may have a decent shot at seeing the season out

Perhaps a change of tune for me but if we do that every game what does my opinion matter?

Michael Flynn set to leave Newport County today.
One of the reasons for leaving is frustrations with training facilities....
That’s one person I’d love to see take over here. Although I expect he’ll be looking for something higher up the pyramid.
